However tempting it may be to abuse this facility don't bother - imms can see the real poster

Have fun.

I classify this under the whatever section. But thanks for the concern. :o If I got the 5 day ban for it...I'd be pissed (though I don't check the forums too much).

Very cool. I miss those ASCII maps from an old MUD I used to play. Towns were normal, but whenever you left a town, your screen was filled with a section of the world map (fully colour coded) and you were a purple @ symbol in the centre of it. Sort of like those old ASCII RPG games. :D

On my MUD client you can set up these auto-map things where basically you turn the cartographer on, and then when you enter a movement direction it adds a room automatically in that direction on the map. So you could start at the Central Square of Val Miran, turn it on, run around every room in the town, and boom! A full map of Val Miran. You can label rooms, colour code things so you can use a key/legend, and even set up special facilities for rooms that overlap or go on multiple levels/floors.#

PortalGT. Loyal user for a long time. FTW.

Has quite a few features that are similar to Zmud, very functional. It says you get thirty days to use the full features but the only feature you lose after the thirty days is the ability to make a secondary connection, so that you can connect to two MUDs (or have two seperate connections on one MUD) at the same time.
