mya
What is the most powerfull class vs others, and by other i mean all other classes/races, and i dont mean you can escape, i mean take them down. This is the question everyone has a diferent response to. Some will say Invokers, others ninjas, others monks, or blademasters. I know most classes get under the papper-rock-sisors thing, meaning some classes will never get a decent competitive chance vs others. Like most classes vs undead. But lets keep this on the non Quest class race thing, but with enuff power to take them down. After all if we include Qraces the answer is so clear as blood . Ill start first. I say its a match betwin Invockers, Blademaster and Monks. With monks winning because they can always lag the other down. Comming close by Blademasters because they can deal huge amounts of damage and prevent the other one from escaping even that they cannot lag them. Close by come invocker, with a spell vs every race vulnerability, except Qclass/Squids. Race for monks is humans, because of the special human bonus. Race for blademaster i dont realy know. Race for Invockers is gnome, because high mentals, no-trip, and a vulnerability that easely overcome.
Warpnow
1. Healers. 2. Cleric- Maybe they can't lag, but if you stick around you're dead. 3. Warriors.- with the right player behind a warrior, they're unstoppable.

Fiere
Hands down: Thieves. Hide from people, don't have to fight fair:gag for mages, pry for warrior-types, communers, trip, backstab, traps that can hit almost every vul. Just gotta know how to play them. Deravgner
actually there are several choices. It all depends on the Style of play by the Pker.
mya
Healers cant PK. Clerics get taken out by Berserkers,Thieves and probably ninjas. Thives dont do well vs Undead. Ninjas dont do well vs Undead.
Fiere
Definitely agree with Deravgner. Thieves just suit my style. I toy around with other things, but I always come back. And I think thieves can do just fine vs undead, save maybe vamps. Just because RED MARKERED don't mean you can't kill them. Holy traps, vul backstab... Raargant
Undead ninja. Ninjas and thieves are the class DESIGNED to have a chance to kill everyone, to help improve rare circulation.
Sneak
if we are talking about brining people down mino/ogre zerk invoker battlemage monk Those four are the strongest if you aggregate their powers against all classes.
Lexi
If we get to pick qraces I'd say undead shaman. Invincible, or at least very close. Again, syndicate would be the best cabal choice.
Raargant
Oh, right, no qraces. Just ninja then.
Polk
I think I should just leave it at one class, and the winner is "DRUM ROLL PLEASE!" The Monk! Theres honestly no better class than a monk. The one person in the game that can lag everything, and deal massive amounts of damage. Can't spell his name, but Tylith or something, Kalith, and someone else made that noteable back in the day. Ofcourse when Kalith was around air thrash had a 3 round lag, I believe thats been changed some time back.
Polk
Also you can pry whatever you want off a monk, ya still know he can stomp ya, just the right stance and your going down with ease. Then theres always that problem with knowing the right stance and the right time for it.
Psycho Child
Ninja. Shaman. Thief. In that order.
Warpnow
Any smart ninja will kick the *** of any godly thief. Pry off a monk? You obviously haven't played too many monks...a smart monk can't be blackjacked.
Fiere
Reason I say thieves, is 90 percent of the battle is prep, and with thieves, you get no prep, whereas they do. Sure, monk is a tough customer, but catch em with sanc, when a stance drops or something, and you're set. Nice to be vindicated by Raar, though
Psycho Child
Ninjas are number one, because they can kill anything. Shamans number two because with patience, they can also kill anything (feral shamans in specific). Thieves are not as good as shamans because a thief will NEVER get the drop on a smart invoker, and can't win (assuming all other things equal, which never happnes true) without getting the drop at least once. Ninja's don't have that problem, because they can (with push) get the drop on an invoker.
Warpnow
I still say a ninja will own your *** as a thief.
Psycho Child
If you mean Ninja > Thief, I agree.
Fiere
Ninja I'm wary of, but still well within the realm of taking them down. Invokers have never been a problem. Sure, firestorm is annoying, but that's all it is. Catch 'em with their pants down, blackjack, gag, they're done.
Psycho Child
Yes but a SMART invoker will NEVER have firestorm down unless they are moving. My last voker pinn I had firestorm going 24/7 unless I was going somewhere, which wasn't often because I didn't have cabal crap to worry about. Now yes, there is a tiny chance that you will be able to snag them while they are moving, but 99% of the time no. Hence, over all, shamans are more effective than thieves.
