myrek
A fully preped ninja has you fully studied. And doesn't need hide to kill you. a ninja vs who? If ya don't go to town or other places they can hide, you'll see them and kill them. Once I get over 40, I won't even group with one in my pk range. It isn't hard to avoid. I've been playing FL and AR since 97 and have only been assassinated 3 or 4 times. edit: and you can't assassinate in a firestorm
Psycho Child
Been playing FL since jan 2000 never been assassinated once. My point was that a ninja could take down all three of those classes you listed. Especialy vokers, on a list of classes that are hard to kill, invokers get left off. myrek
i'm not going to say that those classes can kill a ninja. Ninjas are very slippery. But it is just too easy to avoid them.
Psycho Child
Yes it is easy to not get studied. And fairly easy to run away. However in a fight where each participant is there to the death, ninjas will win a larger portion of the time than other classes (not counting qclasses). However ninja's are harder to use, and usualy get attacked by anyone that sees them. And rightfully so.
H&R
How many times have you killed a ninja then Myrek?
myrek
if you are going that route, HnR, you are changing the equation. You are adding player skill and I though we were avoiding that... assuming equal player skill.
H&R
yeah, well... I suppose I'm just jealous cause I get assassinated all the time, and you don't.
myrek
stay out of town? don't stay in one place? find places with doors? randomly throw out area attack spells?

Ghrialton
Frontrunners are clearly Ninja, Thief, Invoker, Monk. I've seen most of the other classes mentioned, with the exception of Ranger, Berserker and *cough* Bard. Going by the skill lists for each class, I'd have to say Ninja. The Greased Weasel
I said no choosing Qraces/classes' date=' because Vampires are the BEST.[/quote'] Whats with you and vamps yeesh. Vamps just hit their prime faster than say a Sader or an Av
mya
Its not vampires, its the race. Some classes excel vs others, but when it comes to fight unded they are totaly gimped. Shaman being one. Hoo you mean why i think Vamps are the uber, well hard codded unfair advantages that i will not discuss, because we are not alowed to. Raargant
Vampire/Avatar/Crusader are all about on par with each other, I'd say. They each have different strengths or weaknesses, which balance out to about equal.

Nomak
If we get to pick qraces I'd say undead shaman. Invincible' date=' or at least very close. Again, syndicate would be the best cabal choice.[/quote'] What if I tell you that undead shaman is worse than human shaman?
Pali
I'd say demon shaman is far superior to undead shaman.
Lexi
The only real problem I had with my shaman was undeads. Undeads can not kill other undeads. Thus, undead shaman does not have that weakness. Demons are better geared towards classes with enhanced damage. And shamans get blasphemy, which is nice. mya
But now you have a huge vulnerability. I think most goods would prefer to fight a undead shaman than a human shaman.
Mudder
Yeah Undead shaman would get owned by anyone smart. Though catch them unprepared without holy weapons and your set.
Baby Hippo
Hey no, no hating on the ring of fire. "I fell down into a burning ring of fire. As I went down, the flames went higher..." If ye gonna be quoting Johnny Cash at least put the right lyrics... "I fell into a burning ring of fire, i went down down down and flames went higher..."
