Imoutgoodbye
On a side note with the size of our pbase I think it is a bit much to have to spend more t han 2 weeks waiting on a qrace. Imms can justify it how they seem, as they are the bottom line. I just see alot of chars go away because of things like that. Zinnalyassa being one, I myself let 2 qrace wannabes go because I could not justify dumping that much time into something when I could just as easily be pinned and cabaled V or better in the same time. It really has put me off on trying for qraces anymore. *shrug* Each one of my last two qraces has come to me in less than five days after putting my app in. klemkin
If the denial was a test, and what was ignoring me for a month and refusing to RP or reply to any of my three notes at all, Zhokril? Three notes. An application. One prayer a day. Two prayer forum threads. You ask why it was brought here? The answer was simple, I wanted some sort of response from you. After all, it was you who denied me. I would like to look at your first few characters to see your "dedication" to them. You have forget I think that the Psi was my third character. The vampire was my fourth. Judging me on merits of them is unfair. Judging me on my personal merits are unfair. You decided to give a new player qclasses, that isn't my fault and I shouldn't be punished for doing what most newer players do when they learn to cope with an overly competitive game ripe with insult, asshattery, fallible volunteer staff (instead of paid and infallible), and true punishments for dying (by the way, I like these things but really can affect an unperpared person.) For an IC game, that is certainly OOC and I don't like it. It doesn't matter what I like, but it doesn't look like I am the only one who doesn't agree with it. It is disheartening to know that for the hours played, RP committed, and the amount of stringing along I had gotten, you had known from the beginning I would be denied. That is a kick in the throat. The fact is, I specifically asked twice if my past characters would influence the decision on this app. You ACTUALLY REPLIED with, "No, it won't." Why would anyone put up with that? Anume and Brehan : I hope you still reap something from the work. I wish I had known I was failed from the beginning and I wouldn't waste your time. Mali
Klemkin man, I like you, but FL Immortals are beyond reproach, and woe is he who speaks their name in vain or challenges their motives. Their domain extends far past the mud, and your challenge here can have real life consequences as well. Why bite the hand that feeds? Why vanquish the holy fire? Your role in this is clear: Accept your fate! Pray for kindness from the heavens. Cower before your betters! Some people have never had a psi or a vamp after years and years of playing. A characters life should not be dependent on your success or failure to ascend. Applications are frowned upon when you take them to prayer forum, general forum, or ask about their status in game. The best thing to do is to send an application, and update that application by sending new ones if a month has passed. They will watch you, often silently, like a peeping tom who does not wish to be discovered. Should you seek to engage them, they will no longer be interested. Play the character for the characters sake. Now, remember I said I liked you at the beginning of this thread, so I want to see you keep playing here. I have a sense of dejavu about you posting goodbye threads, and me posting for you to stay and try again. How about a good aligned ninja next time around? Do not respond that you are done here. And since the character in question is dead now anyway, this thread is somewhat of a moot point. To succeed here you must have the tenacity of the cockroach! Be the bug that cannot be squashed under the heel. But also scurry away from the light, and wait for the day that that you can emerge to feast with your kin.
