Pali
I feel your pain... but I feel that people tend to be forgetting that abnormal race/class combinations are always gimped, not just for balance reasons, but also to ensure that they are being played primarily for RP rather than PK reasons. Hell, even Dey's faerie zerk lost skills, despite the fact that even with the full zerk skillset a faerie zerk would be painfully weak. Going for an abnormal combination is going to bring you lots of pain in PK - you have to expect this at the get-go.

I'll always think of the Moderate Tier as the Gimp tier due to the restriction on rares.
Ali_gmud
Damn, did you even get to 50? I was hoping to have a fight with you, I thought it'd be interesting to fight a race/class combo I've never fought before. I saw you as the Herald of War which I think is around 40-44. I wish you were to stick it out, I knew that you'd be gimped with that class/race obviously. And even if you were a powerhouse, **** it - that's all part of the challenge. One offers more protection and you're only playing half the game. EDIT: Sorry to hear the FG DK is gone, though. It's rough when you draw attention to yourself. Like when I was the Right Hand Man of the Hell Bunny and I had the Hell Bunny Claws. I was killed over 15 times before I hit 30 from people trying to take my owner only item. Imoutgoodbye
I respectfully disagree. I've had incredibly rewarding experiences playing uncaballed characters. Quite possible. However, certain race/class combos will find that against caballed characters who have decided they're fun to pick on (multikill), the extra power of the caballed character will make it...less enjoyable. Hence I would suggest moderate tier for anyone planning on not being caballed.
The-Nameless
edit: Thanks Imms for letting me play something that has never happened in FL and giving me unreal RP opportunities. I am sorry my rage brought the end of this character, and after I cool down I will be back here to play more, and perhaps with slightly better temperment. I dunno how to feel about modeus. I interacted with him across a few chars. Sometimes he felt like a genuinely cool character, and well played. Other times the frustration of the person playing him was blatantly obvious. Mega, I wish you could have stuck it to 50, and dealt with whatever happens better. Anyone who plays/has played DKs can tell you that it is probably the most frustrating base class you can play because of what you have to invest to get going, and how quickly you can become unrealistically crippled due to one mistake. I wish you much luck in the future, and please edit your post before you get yourself a forum ban.
H&R
Sucks to lose bash, but your char was truly unique and I wish you would have stuck with it. Thought you were going to join the awesome tribunal gang

Celerity
Thanks for the short bit of RP we had while you were waiting for your app! Too bad it didn't work out though. Never, ever expect pk viability after align/class/race changes! Unfortunate, but that is how FL works! edit: Did you only lose bash?
megayeah
I lost much. Not gonna name them. Losing bash is enough for you to know not to make a fire dk.

Grim_Reefer
I'm telling you man, I know you're pretty new man, but seriously... just stick to the basics for now. Maybe get a racial restring for rp purposes, but seriously, you should have seen whatever happened coming. Don't go for something like that and expect everything to be fine. I know in your head you were expecting something sick, but I could have told you fromt he get-go that a FG dkn wouldn't have the mustard to sate the pallette. Roll a drow dischord cleric and go nuts. megayeah
I'm not new. I've played almost since the begining. Coming and going all the time. Took a 3-4 year break and I came back.
