Balgashang
Anyone know if there's a way to set up automatic logging for gmud? I never seem to remember to start logging, and I miss so good stuff, pks, rp, new things I just learn when I'm half asleep heh.
Deykari
I don't know about GMud but I use a free MUD client called PortalGT. If you find that there is no automatic logging on Gmud I recommend Portal. It has a long command history, customizable scrollback buffer (and you can set it to ridiculous amounts of lines), full alias/macro/ticket/event/trigger support, skins, and all the rest of the standard features you get in a MUD client. To the players who use Telnet: I salute you, because how do you log anything? I tried it when I first started playing and couldn't even see what I was typing until I get enter. And the backspace key didn't delete anything - it just added a silliy little '^R' or something like that to the line. So if I typed something wrong I could only get rid of it by pressing enter. I suppose I wasn't really much help there was I... Dey
Zrothum
Unless the buffer can hold 10 hours of continous play...I'm not interested. RoAClient for the win.
Teralis
telnet= select - scroll down - cut/copy - paste How I do it anyway.

Chayesh
GMud logs but I think he's asking if there's a way to make it do it automatically for when he forgets to do it manually. Not that I've found.
FatMike
you have to click the log button for gmud to begin and end logging
Balgashang
Yea pretty much Chayesh nailed what I was going for, I had noticed some new type of telnet (new to me) that auto-logs sessions. And after getting gmud, I don't want to go back to telnet heh. As it is, I remember to start logging maybe 20-30 percent of the time.
FatMike
I use jmc and i have about 10000 lines in the buffer, that's usually more than enough for me to go back.
Balinor
I tried switching away from GMud for these exact reasons. The easiest client that I found to switch to is MUSHclient.

WarriorCleric
Any of you programmers get the urge to edit the gmud source(downloadble from mudmagic I think) to make an fl specific client? WC
