The-Nameless
I was curious if Malch could post/write some of the story shadowing the clash of the pally/dk in emerald. I love that story, and I know their is a great concept that led up to that conclusion. I really would be interested in it, same with Raargant. I wanna read that damn thing! Malchaeius
I will look through my files. Recently my desktop crashed, therefore some of my notes are gone. I will tell you, however, that this concept was born out of my desire to roleplay siblings - prefferably twins - who have chosen the opposite end of the spectrum. Their father, a harsh man by nature, pushes them to bring "order" to the world; yet order is subjective. "Does blood outweigh duty? Are familial bonds more important than those of fate? What are the ties that bind us to who we are and what we stand for?" These are the questions that I pondered whilst crafting the story.
The-Nameless
Crashed as in? Unless your drive is a complete useless flubanimal I can recover the data. I do everything short of a vacuum static free room to remove the platter.
Celerity
Reaaaaaalllllly? I actually need data recovery services for my harddrive. Any suggestions for someone in China??
The-Nameless
Yea, FedEx it to me. On a side note, are you looking at disaster recovery, or an out of sync drive. Did your drive just quit reading, or is it making ungodly clicking/grinding noises.
Celerity
SOMEBODY dropped it. It just clicks and can't be read. A head problem? Something physical.... I would fedex it to you, but then all my private pictures would be all over your room...how private is this data recovery stuff anyways?
The-Nameless
As far as privacy goes, I NEVER even look at files. It is done 100% by mirror imaging the drive to a new drive. Have you tried a program called Spin rite? I am sure there is a free version, and it takes some time. Now with a physical clicking chances are the platter itself has been scratched. In that case I would be looking towards a data recovery house, which is very pricy, and not a guaranteed fix. Wish I had better news for you lol. Celerity
Yeah, looked expensive. The harddrive is quite large too...sigh. Spinrite was one of the first things I tried.
