So overall, all I can make of this thread is that everyone defending Tribunals as fine are playing Tribunals, aren't Wanted or feel that Outlaws are meant to be played by the elite of the elite pkers. And when I say played, I mean played without leaving a corpse in the Center of Val Miran on a daily basis.

I have played a Tribunal, I have played wanteds and speaking from both sides, they are not overpowered. I found it fairly easy if you use your brain to avoid capture and if you are not skilled fairly difficult to capture.

All depends on the player.

Then tell that to my trib when I had em that got slaughtered easily. Again, I am not an awesome pk'er, but before trib I had a positive PK ratio. After Trib I lost it horribly. Now if it was Trib that was overpowered, you would THINK that my pk ratio would have stayed positive. Just deductive reasoning ya know?

Consider this: You are a syndicate, the e-skill (the only thing I believe should be toned) will be used against you in the area outside your cabal or in the area outside the Tribunal cabal because you will either be defending the enemies standard, your own standard, retrieving your own or taking the enemy's. Both of those areas are impossible to run around in, avoiding the Tribunal with the e-skill for more than perhaps a few hours if you get lucky. A syndicate = wanted. The syndicate stand no chance unless he is beating the Tribunal in question. I can think of a possible way to escape in a situation like this, but it involves cabal abilities and it may not solve the problem even if it works. [CABAL INFO REMOVED]

Not really, since Tribunes get captures rather than PKs usually.

Tribunals themselves are far from overpowered, but I think they should be monitered the closests because their nature alone gives them more reasons to become trash. I think Justice/Tribunal has in general always been run well, monitered close enough that none of the stronger rolls within them turned to trash due to what is bound to happen. There's always a larger population that does not like law, so going into tribunal you gotta expect more hate than even a nexus would get. So I would expect that cabal to be beefed up to be able to have a fighting chance against the odds. One on one though I don't think tribunals are overpowered at all.

Rest assured, Tribunal is monitored VERY heavily for that exact reason you mentioned, Warmongrel, and the reasons I mentioned before: incredible RP power that directly affects things in game. Additionally, the "laws" in game provide recourse for those who feel they have been treated unfairly by the people enforcing the Law and Prax reviews those situations to insure that Tribunals are correctly carrying out their duties. In fact, I can think of several instances off the top of my head where certain "wrongs" were made right after incorrect actions.
