It just means that only a few will be accepted. And by me saying I'd like to meet each one, doesn't mean I'd like to kill each one. I don't have any chars at 30, only 50.

I just wanna see which qrace/class each are after, and then help them flesh out some RP. Hehe.

I would never bother myself with qrace/qclass it is rubbish waste of time.

How is it rubbish? How is it a waste of time? I've had some wonderful RP with qraces and qclasses. They got what they got because they're superb at what they do. I would go out of my way to RP with any qclass/qrace, or wannabe's of such.. because it's fun.

Why should I bother to apply especially for a qrace when instead, I can reach pinnacle, get into a cabal have a lot of more fun with it.Also all of the qrace skills you can get with items. Not to mention that almost all of the wannabees want qrace/qclass just because of the overpowered combo. They RP but once they get what they wan't they just stop to RP and only PK.

I apply for qraces or qclasses every once in awhile. I can assure you and everyone else however, I play at least 2-3 characters in between that have nothing to do with anything questy.

There's gotta be some change and uniqueness in between, you know :)

And everyone who says that, or hints that, qclass/qraces lose RP.. honestly? How can someone even say that with one or two encounters which may be PK related? With the new rules submitted by the IMPs though, it'll be that much less easy for people to say that.

And for those who actually do do it, awesome. We can flesh them out, and get rid of them.

One thing I have seen for the qclass/race applicants is that they die off. My most recent char interacted with a ton of applicants, and they were the always best RP sessions. I just wish they would hold out, because often their RP is very unique and interesting. Even if you don't get what your looking for, changing it up and finish off with a character you already put hours in to developing.

I can see the point that RP tapers off after a while, but I think that may hold true for many characters and not just qclasses/races. What I do when that happens is make up something for my guys to do, even if it's primarily by themselves. Eventually, someone takes notice and runs with it - that's how I lasted with Daemian for a thousand hours of game play. You can bet he got stale from time to time.

This is alright, but when ONE has two Qthings active at the same time (one current and one unshelved for example), thats what reaaaally bugs me :P

This is why I think that Qthings, just as rares, should be purged after a certain ammount of activity isn't met.

Do you really just hate RPing that much Nightmare? Alot of your posts seem to push to the fact that PK is the most important factor in anything FL related. And SOME qraces quit RPing once they get it, others do not

Examples of well RPed qraces:

Valadar- Played by Kyzarius

Pamiyn- Played by Deykari

Scorvale- Played by Twinblades

Phaige- Played by Emp_Newb

Tylith- Played by Behrens

Marti- Played by Despiser

These are some examples that came to mind when thinking about it. It is not fair to belittle the work that alot of people put into their game time just because you decide that a few interactions speak for the entire Pbase. I have seen a very large amount of very good RP recently. Players are getting more into their characters, and it is improving FL. You as a player need to make something with the purpose of only being the char you create, only rping what your char would do not you. SET NO GOALS OTHER THAN PINNING. Let the world make your character, not your head. People set goals, and get pissed when they do not meet them. They get angry because they feel a character is a failure because they did not reach E reaver, or Tribby L. They completely view past the actual character, and see that they did not fit the template they made while rolling their char.
