f0xx
What is going on? My last few characters had to wait for TWO days before their descriptions were checked. In the mean time we've had changes implemented, shout outs approved, immortals visible in the lands and immortals posting on the forum. And this is not a problem only I am experiencing. Is there some kind of a waiting period for desc approvals? I logged in the forums today to see the double XP gains as an easter present and I thought it would be great since I am ranking a character. My happiness was short lived though when I logged in and found out that my description is not yet approved. The implemention of "dcheck" was great, NO, it would have been great if it actually worked. ullquiora
The Dcheck Modular Equation ((Active Number of Imms)/(Works in Progress*2))*100=(Chance Percentage of Desc Check at Any Moment) Something is coming. Something large....

Croyvern
In truth, since the beginning of the year I also have noted a period of waiting for my descriptions. And 99% of the time I have a description written before I roll, entered at level 1. So I have had to pray, wait, pray, wait, rank, wait, pray, ect. I have rolled three characters this year, One was approved at rank one, <1hr played, the other two, rank 15, >30h played. I have not used the dcheck, while its a nice Idea, it is only surpassed in OOC by Newbie chat. I would rather pray to my god for a few more days and let my rp solidify itself or unravel rather than use the dcheck. If for instance Lloth will not aprove my drows description after countless prayers, then she has forsaken me, I will find another god worthy of my worship. And the same goes for my cleric's of Irumeru, I have never met a man who did not sooner or later question his faith. When bent far enough a mans faith is broken. If the God my chars parents taught him to serve ignores his prayers, I am not properly RPing if I do not question that faith.
Sandbox
lol this is the first thing that came to mind... Sandbox' date=' don't worry. Those that tend to abuse these things and not come to us about them will find it much harder to get approved for description checks. [/quote'] I've never waited more than an hour personally, but then again I ask for it at level 1 and its always done before I absolutely need it done. That usually only happens when imms look at the desc and think it is borderline. Not really bad, but with enough issues to make them think twice about approving. So we all decide to let someone else make the decision.

f0xx
lol.. barefaced lie Eh, up to this date I've had a total of 3 blademasters - hafling gladiator which was quite a failure since he was my first. Slith nexus and dwarf barbarian (who was also my first barbarian ever). But it would be interesting for me to hear who you think was the other dwarf BLM I was playing
