Sneak
Alright Im through with Konoshk. As most of you guessed it was me. Following is a fight against Marti that made me deside. cabalskilled in WINTER!!!! FFS, exiled so I cannot recall, and then a vamp against whom I fail 5 spells just to get beaten silly by a freaking justice guard. Thanks especially to Askarran - was fun doing gear only two people. Enemies who did make a good impression - Tomas, I hope youll get credit for your effort. Things went slow - took 100 rl hours to get rejected as demon, been a lot of hours in Nexus and no promotion from vet yet. Tried to rp a true dischord - went somewhat well, at least I got a lot of enemies. Took around 40 deaths I believe, never thought it was posible to die so much with a cleric, I suck with those. Afterall its nice having a council elder going after you - their skills are truly fit for fighting outside the city edit: also seeing new people pinned and getting trusted in knight when they have been 3 minutes in the cabal isnt really very encouraging when you start on your 40th hour as vet in the cabal. Sometimes I wish imms would be a little less biased when they deal with both rewards and penalties. Took three deaths from healers who all engaged me without me having attacked them :/ /---------------\/----------------------------------------------\ | Konoshk || Sadist of REAVER | \---------------/\----------------------------------------------/ | Str: 20(20) || Level: 50 Sex: M Age : 34(306h) | | Int: 20(20) || Class: cleric Ethos: chaotic | | Wis: 21(21) || Race : human Align: evil | | Dex: 20(20) || Hp : 37/670 Exp : 111892/332108 | | Con: 13(13) || Mana : 68/896 | \ Lck: [|||||-] \/ Move : 420/420 +Hit: 4 +Dam: 6 / /---------------/\------------------/\--------------------------\ | ARMOR || SAVES || Deity : Malchaeius | | Slash : -30 || Spell : -5 || Faith : Discord | | Pierce: -30 || Afflictive : 0 || Weight: 0/375 | | Blunt : -30 || Maledictive: 0 || Items : 0/37 | | Magic : -30 || Mental : 0 || Prac : 21 Train: 1 | | || || Gold : 0 CP: 689 | \---------------\/------------------\/--------------------------/ / Condition: You are covered with deep scars and lacerations. \ | You are ready for a cabal promotion. | | You are a ghost. | \---------------------------------------------------------------/ prac armor 100 bless 100 calm 100 cancellation 100 cause light 83 continual light 100 create food 100 create spring 100 create water 100 cure blindness 100 cure critical 100 cure disease 100 cure poison 100 cure serious 100 curse 100 detect good 100 detect invis 100 detect magic 100 detect traps 100 dispel good 100 dispel magic 100 earthquake 100 faerie fire 100 faerie fog 100 frenzy 100 giant strength 100 identify 100 infravision 100 know alignment 100 locate object 100 pass door 100 protection 100 refresh 100 remove curse 100 sanctuary 100 shield 100 stone skin 100 summon 100 word of recall 100 flail 100 mace 100 shield block 100 whip 76 enhanced damage 100 hand to hand 100 kick 100 parry 100 second attack 100 fast healing 100 haggle 84 meditation 100 scrolls 84 staves 83 wands 78 recall 100 protective shield 100 xxxxxxxxxxx 82 trance 100 staff 88 spell turning 100 holy hands 100 isolate 100 path of deceit 100 minister 100 bless arms 100 divine intervention 96 two handed 100 comprehend language 100 xxxxxxxxx 87 xxxxxxxxxxxx 76 xxxxxxxxxx 56 steel wall 100 <763hp 600m 378mv> Your poison scratches you. <762hp 600m 378mv> m Martineius flies in. Raargant
Each IMM runs their own cabal in their own way. I give promotions quickly, but I also penalize harshly. Knights know what I mean. The person in question fought a 2v4 as a new Inductee, instead of logging. I reward balls like that. The healers in question were all punished, some more than others. With regards to your complaint about Tribunal skills.. Let's compare damage. Martineius's sting decimates you! Martineius's sting maims you! Martineius's sting devastates you! Martineius's sting devastates you! Martineius's sting maims you! Martineius's sting decimates you! Martineius's sting decimates you! Martineius's sting maims you! Martineius's sting devastates you! The Blood Guard's slash wounds you. The Blood Guard's slash injures you. The Blood Guard's slash wounds you. The Blood Guard's slash injures you. The Blood Guard's slash wounds you. The Blood Guard's slash wounds you. The Blood Guard's slash wounds you. The Blood Guard's slash wounds you. The Blood Guard's slash wounds you. The Blood Guard's slash injures you. The Tribunal hit you for 19 times, maims/decimates. The charmy hit you for 11 times, injures/wounds. In other words, it did around 1/6 of what the Tribunal did. Compare that to old school Justice hounds.
Mudder
Why on earth would you just stand there and take a beating like that? Flee, heal a little, try some more, flee, heal, go again. Your a cleric not a warrior. And edit that mask out of your log.
Sneak
Ill tell you why I stand there - cause I aint got nowhere to go. I cannot escape the council cabal skill and considering I was also exiled...
Mudder
So you couldn't flee and run around the area for a little bit? You said in winter? There are TONS of aggro mobs there, try to run around and hide behind them. Hope that Martineius would get attacked by a couple. Then run in and start dealing the damage. Get him ministered with mobs beating on him.
Sneak
Tried minister 6 times - failed. I cannot run cause he will get to me nomatter where i stand in the same area - it wont be hard. Vamp skill will help with that - only way I can escape that is negated by his two council skills. Tried to change hometown but evil humans clerics are only allowed in rheydin or miruvhor - thats grand if u get outlawed.
Goomf
I don't understand why outlaw gives the cursed effect. Anyone care to explain that to me?
Designated_Driver
When an old noble/royal used to exile you, if you recalled to their town, you wouldn't be able to recall there. I presume that Martineius' home is Miruvhor, therefore you're exiled from Miruvhor, and can't recall there.
Mudder
The point is to put some distance between you two so you can cure critical a few times. He won't overly use said vampskill. Why? Because it will cost him the first attack. Its not like it doesn't lag him... So even if he does, you can move away and heal. Clerics are awesome in long drawn out battles. Thats your thing. Not his. Use it to your advantage. though not like it matters anymore. Also didn't help that Marti is completely and utterly decked... And yes, you could have changed hometown to Rheydin and recalled there. You were only exiled from Miruvhor. Though not like thats too much better, since Tribs always hang around Rheydin.
Acerbity
Missed minister six times? Wow. Six? That's outrageous! WOW! Really, are you so used to it landing the second or third time? Wake up, people, minister isn't ALWAYS going to land. Martinieus has a LOT of EQ to get away from it, and from what I've seen, he's the most skilled player I've ever fought against/fought with. He's awesome, and I see no reason why you would delete after getting owned by a vampire whom exiled you for something (I'm guessing it was a damn good reason). All around, it was your fault. And for the record, Raargant hit it right on the money: Tribunal guards are -not- overpowered, and they never have been. You're overexaggerating. As for Konoshk; I hate him. Not sorry to see you go. No offense, I just think the way you played him was utterly.. more than just Dischord. Good char I guess.

mya
Roll a good elf/Dwarf cleric follower of Purity and try to take him down. That way you dont have to suffer from exile penalty. You can always gate away if not recall. Dont know about special skills like lets say Telelock. Good clerics get RAY of thruth, a nice spell that can Silence,Shrink, Blind. Teh mitical Turn Undead. Also dont fight in Winter with a cleric. Fight somewere open like The Ford or The forest north of Val Miran. Or the Dead Sea.

Raargant
If you look closely at my post count, you'll see that I am a very, very regular poster on this forum. The reason you 'find a post by Raargant' on 'everything complaint on Tribunal' is because, amongst the IMM staff (which these posts are directed towards), I (along with Chayesh) are THE most prolific posters on the forum. This specific post was a combination of him speaking directly about my performance and my actions as cabal IMM of Knight, as well as another Tribunal complaint, which I responded to using the log he so kindly provided. However, you are entitled to believe whatever you wish.
