Bert
This has been screwing me up so badly lately. I'm punching because of held weapons blocking a weapon draw. Can't use em while two weapons are held.... Just missed out on something because my damn weapon was sheathed because of a held item. So... How do you all deal with the held item madness? What types of aliases do you use? I had been using a sheath, hold item, use item, draw. But the draw part doesn't seem to be reliable, though I can't put my finger on when its failing to work properly. I suppose I can replace the draw with a remove item, draw. Just wondering how the rest of you do things.
H&R
Everything is fine when you wield a two-handed weapon. It's just when you use a weapon and a shield that you get screwed up if you are attacked while sheathed and holding an item, and start punching instead of drawing your weapon. I just remove the item and then draw. One extra command, but what can you do, eh?
Celerity
Hehe, a lot like the doublesheath bug! More work to be done!
kaboomer
Someone has been whooping my tail lately with a held item, shield, and holy hands! Smart combo!
mya
Yes, that is a "recent" change to holy hands. Making Squids, Battlemages and Holy Hands Clerics the only classes worth using a offensive-Wand or a treasure. Hoo and Healers. But Healers don't count. mya
sheath; hold item; use item; rem item This is what I use. I leave the draw out, since it happens automatically.
f0xx
This is what I use. I leave the draw out' date=' since it happens automatically.[/quote'] I won't argue about and why the draw is there. You're the melee kinda player
Kyzarius
This is what I use. I leave the draw out' date=' since it happens automatically.[/quote'] isnt there a parry penalty if your weapon is sheathed going into that 1st round?
samag08
Always seemed slightly that way to me Kyz.
Aulian
And a counter penalty Im sure. not to mention that... Just set up a trigger/alias for it. Thats how I started whooping Wyslign's butt.. Commands to buff me inbetween rounds of combat like: F7 Macro = shea wear staff use staff draw Happy sanctuary.
Kyzarius
Always seemed slightly that way to me Kyz. I always draw my weapon. and use alias' similar to what Aulian suggested. I also use such alias' on all my melee charactrs to get potions, or curatives from my bag too. I would think these have become quite common, like the insane weapon swapping strings you have to write when playing a giant.
