KRins
Well... I have finally stopped crying so I can talk about this... but the Iceman has goneth. A legend of our day is effectively done. Tito has avoided catching ANOTHER beatdown...
killalou
Why is evenone saying that? He lost a fight but its not like he lost badly. Hell he broke his opponents arm!!!
The-Nameless
Chuck is just getting old is all. His jaw is getting softer, and his power is dropping slightly. Really it would be best to go out now. Im surprised Crocop is still taking serious fights to get into contention.
killalou
I dont know about crocop...he has experience and knows what to do when given an opportunity. I think he won because barry was dicking around.

I think he won because barry was dicking around. Thats exactly right, he was letting crocop get set, and pick his strikes. If you wanna beat Crocop, you put pressure on him. He easily has the power to knock out Dos Santos. But Jr put a **** ton of pressure on him in the fight, and did not allow him any time of control. Look at all his losses. Every one he has no ring control, no time to get set. The recipe for crocop is a fast fight, or an incredibly lucky headkick.

The-Nameless
Or take him down... Crocop has been taking BJJ for ten years lol. He loses fights when he loses ring control because he can no longer lead you into the deathleg.
KRins
Oh I know he's trained in BJJ... Werdum trained him for a while after he won Abu Dhabi... but my point is... he isn't that amazing from his back. Watch his fight against Big Nog. That was pre-Werdum... he is DRASTICALLY better now. I'm just saying... a solid wrestler that doesn't eat the death leg can basically eliminate the "fight could be ended whenever he wants at any second and my face might be different when I regain consciousness" factor. The-Nameless
Watch his fight against Big Nog. You cannot say someone has a weak ground game based on losing a fight to that iron chinned monstrosity. By that logic Randy couture has a bad ground game too
KRins
I was just giving that as a reference to how far his ground game has come. I think that was his last fight before he spent time with Werdum.
The-Nameless
ah, gotcha. Speaking of Werdum, you ready to see some rocking guard arm bars when he fights Fedor?
Rethrick
As much as everyone loves the liddel of old, MMA has grown up. The single facetted fighters of yesterday are not going to continue to compete (the only champ that is an exception is Lesner, but its Lesner!). Crocop has gotten better with his BJJ, but at the sametime, he doesn't submit people. He is all about those legs. And whoever said that to beat crocop, just speed up the fight then your absolutely right. I noticed that in his early loses.
