Well I know this is a disappointment, I waited a long time to get psi. Put an asston of work into getting it. Had good pk. Good rp. Doesn't it just figure that I decide its time to move on :confused:

As far as Drakken is concerned, I tried a different approach with this character. I doubt there is a single person who failed to benefit from this char being rolled. From the people who I helped get armor, to the people who made my day better with great rp, RIP Morgael. I found a base for the character, and fit very well into the cabal choices I made. Yes I did choose mysterum, not for any broken mechanics I found snooping in the code. 100% for RP. The mysterum abilities are. Intesesting? Drakken was always a planeswalker. I wandered throughout the "multiverse" searching for knowledge, and what power really was. Though in an RP manner I never "found" power. I did come up with some interesting thought points as far as power not really existing. Had some fun talks with *ALOT* of people. It really gives you a good feeling when people are finding IG approaches to speak with you about areas, armies, armor, weapons, cabals, Where I get my consumables. I had a nearly immeasurable amount of fun on Drakken in all points of FL.

To those of you who deserve a shoutout: I could not begin to list everyone who helped my RP along. I will say this though, most of the time it was not some PK monster E cabaler, though I did meet with many. Most of the time it was the level 20 adventurer. The pinn who rarely pks. I was so surprised with it. My goal with Drakken was to make a char that helped improve what people see as RP. You do not have to have some mind bending plot in order to have RP. There was a moderate druid I spoke with. He wrote me a scroll. He just liked the woods. No dead parents, no burned village, no taken at birth and raised by man-bears. He just liked the woods. I loved that. I also took a liking to doing things for people, but only if they would give "information". That really was just a ruse to get you all more into your characters. I will say far, and away, Thran's ideas on what Faith is where compelling. Oppressant's reply to my request on what power is was very well thought out. Shufei's as well.

Now for my opinion on Psi. I can see how it is possible to easily die with a psi. Even at 450 ac (combat buffs and all) I was soaking up damage at an alarming rate. So much so that I took minimal saves, and went all hp/mana gear. Mages with 1100 hp are hilariously easy to survive with. Combined with *alot* of consumable usage. To all who fought me, I healed that fast becase of my collection of healing items, combined with a few items. I also feel that I grasped the class very well, considering I play alot of invokers, I felt very comfortable in pk. Over all I would suggest making one ONLY if the RP leads to it. Actively seeking something because you believe it is powerful will lead to boredom, I had to constantly stoke the fires to keep from getting bored

with Drakken.

Now onto the next matter. I believe it really is time for me to move on from FL. I have a 1 year old daughter, and a 6 year old son. I am going to start a new outdoorsy hobby. Summer is coming around, and L-A, you know what I just bought, how can I say no? Florida, Summer, Fireblade. Mmmm. This game has really given me alot over the years, and I cannot thank you all enough for keeping this little slice of heaven/crack alive all these years. I have had enough enjoyment here to never need to touch another video game. This is not brought on by a death, or anything remotely related to in game activity. Thanks everyone for a great few years. I have been in car wrecks, bungee jumped, scuba diving. Nothing compares to that real hands shake chest thumping pk rush.

I admired how your character was about roleplay before he was about player killing. From what I saw in game, your Warmaster PK was very fair and you always left them their equipment-classy. I thought Drakken's roleplay was very interesting as well.. although perhaps a bit overpowering in the fact that you were roleplaying a psionic race as an invoker. Though in the end you got what you worked so hard for. I wish you the best of luck in suppressing your Forsaken Lands "demon." You just might be the most addicted player we have/had here. Good luck to you in the future and go enjoy your summer with the kids.

I wish I had my original restring app. But Mindflayer the reason I was a non psionic psi was because FL is a realm that closely guards who has psionic powers, much closer than nearly all of the multiverse. Upon arriving here I was actually stripped of my psionic abilities, so I took to the next guild that was natural to me, invoker. As I grew in strength, I began to learn of the mind's eye.

Also to all you naysayers. I am not leaving fl out of frustration, or any type of break scenario. I have played this game literally YEARS. There are a vast number of players I would like to think have benefitted in some manner by interacting with me. Be it learning areas, better rp, crazy close pks (**** you tassin ) or discussing race/class combos and how they fit with RP. I do love FL, hell I may even be back in a few months. But right now the sun is shining, my bike is glistening, and my Shoei is here. There may be nothing like a pk rush, but running around lake okeechobee wide open on a bike *might* come close.

You have a very full plate. Your also the god of the Mystic. I really see it as completely cool that your never really vis. #1 your an enigma in most fashions, but number two your cranking on making the game better. Even with our limited interaction, you usually take time to have several *REALLY* good RP events. Like Pildo in the sanctuary of contraption when we almost burned it down. Right up to my crystal gaining life, making me immobile, as well as beating me up. I got beat up by my own rock.

Hehe. Well you helped to keep me motivated to play this game for years. I feel that now you really mean what you say about stepping away from fl (at least for awhile). It really saddened me to hear it especially since we had so much interaction over our chars over the years. Drakken was my one of my favorites and he helped immensely in sparking interest in the atmosphere, even when the wholist was dead. I'm still not sure if psi's are as op as before perhaps because my current char has somewhat equal footing against yours. But you really brought up some good points. You've aspired plenty of others to follow in the footsteps of your playstyle, so your legacy will live on. Take care Dan.
