Well, it's that time again.

Vakuul, the product of my passion towards the drow race. Created right after I finished the War of the spider queen books, inspired by the mage Pharaun. I wanted to create an exact replica of him, so I dedicated a few days to writing his description. I had a lot of plans for him, but as it usual happens with my projects... I lose interest fast. My original idea was for him to become a leader of savant seeking immortality. Well, in the end the lust towards PK overcame me and I quickly forgot his RP. Hell I remember some of the ideas I created him for just now that I am writing this... which reminds me perhaps one of these ideas where you can write goals, history and stuff for the immortals to read is not such a bad idea.

I've found for myself that there are two stages where I enjoy a character - at the start when I have many ideas and at the end after I have made a name of myself so I can take the time to RP without people ignoring me. Also, I've found that the lust for PK comes mostly due to the fact that I spend so much time training and in the end I want to see the results of this training i.e. PK. Anyway... Vakuul was an arrogant bastard, a lot like Sepa, but the difference being that Sepa is arrogant due to his craziness and Vakuul is arrogant due to the fact he thinks he is superior to everyone else and tries to show it in every way possible.

The friends he had ingame were either people who he considered strong and wanted to take advantage of that strength (Sepahoona, Grum) or such which he (in character) considered weak and wanted to manipulate.

So much for Vakuul.

Now on invokers as a whole - while quite fun and strong (especially in certain cabals) agaist certain combos they are absolutely weak and useless against others and I don't like when a character of mine is useless against some combo, especially when that character of mine is wearing THE BEST gear for the class. I can understand the logic of every class having a bane, but seeing your hellstream doing "maul" when you have a fully charged staff and +3 to aff spells is a bit too much. Then again I've two rounded many ogres, so I don't have the right to comlain, do I? In the end, I've found killing with invokers the easiest, but against players who know what they are doing, you can forget it. Also, some people might think that melees require consumables to be successful... god you have no idea how much consumables an invoker needs :)

SHOUT OUTS: I've only heavily interacted with 2 characters - Sepahoona and Jaspurr.

Sepahoona - I really liked you RP. Your mad side always made me smile. I secretly wanted to fight you, but I knew it would be the best for us both if we are friends :)

Jaspurr - Oh boy, words cannot describe what I feel towards you. When I see you fight, my heart starts to race and I want to roll another WM. You fight with so much passion and desire - an epitome of a TRUE WARMASTER. Reminds me so much of Virarc back in the days against Svenik and Dagoneto. The little furry footed fellow against the evil drow (multiple i.e. Sepahoona, Naltina and myself). We've had some EPIC EPIC battles and our last battle was insanse. Your improvement is immense, but yes, that is what WM cabal does. Feels good doesn't it? Starting as a worm, walking through the nine circles of hell and coming out as a titan of war. Dying 3 times to me and then when you finally came on top you took what? 2 items? FFS loot it all! You deserve it! :)

I role played with you only with one character. A very brief encounter with little words but what was said was enough to give me the impression that you felt you were far superior to me. Well done with the character, gone too early but I know what you mean about losing sight of your original intent.

I enjoyed the Spider Queen series myself. You check out the spin off from that series?

Haha it is indeed. As I said, it took me a few days to write his description and even more to find an actual picture to inspire me.

Every time I would get bored, I would open my "projects" folder and would read PK logs, applications and stuff. I had saved that picture there. It helped me not to delete earlier. Of course Sepahoona has a large part to not delete him earlier too. The interactions I've had with her have been quite enjoyble, to say the least. You don't wanna leave when you're having so much fun. But oh well, it's time to move on :)
