Deykari
I think a lot of people come up with character names with wordplay, messing with words. Don't think there's anything wrong with Roinin. Most of my character names come from taking a phrase or words, and changing stuff around slightly. 'Car Ferry' --> 'Caeferray', until I deleted him, and then re-rolled as 'Car Sharing' --> 'Caesharin'. I had a low-level stone-giant ranger delete, who's name was 'Halwyte', derived from "Hallway Light". I don't think any name beats the stone giant that came before, was it "Big Pecker" or something similar? Dey

Mudder
I use the name generator in my head... Takes me a good 3 minutes at most to figure out a cool name. When I was younger there used to be this cartoon.. Ronin Warriors They were damn cool and in no way disgraced or masterless samurai! So take that Chayesh! lol
Merriwren
I believe Ronin is also a term to refer to students in Japan who are out of High school but still studying to pass a college entrance exam. And Ronin Warriors (Yoroiden Samurai Troopers woo!) was awesome. Kinda reminded me of a beefed up all male Sailor Moon.

Read this. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ronin Yes, I know I hate Wikipedia too, but it was the fastest, quickest link that I came across that didn't have to do with the movie, Ronin, starring Robert DeNiro, a film by the way that not only kicks ***, but has one of the greatest car chases ever and also correctly uses the word 'ronin'. Pieman
I think I may be one of the few who use elvish, orcish, dwarvish and dalk elvish dictionaries. I use them on a lot of my characters who fall under those races (and some just evil ones I use the orcish dictionary) to make names of. One of my favorite in a while meant Red Meat....mmm...delicious red meat.

Magick
Which reminds me. Ran across a [beast?] Perin Abara and forgot to note/pray it. Very close to Perrin Aybara from the Wheel of Time series. Found it a touch funny though. Wonder if his wereform was a wolf. *chuckle*
Dizz
My famous healer Mamira Magneifa was originally named Mammillaria Magnifica. Bryn called me up to the name room saying he had an image of me being a spiny elf. A mammillaria is a cactus. So I abbreviated it. Ah well, Mamira was easier to spell anyway....
