15 - 20 hours a month.

As the title suggests - with a new job and starting house searching I think i can realistically expect to be able to put aside 15 hours a month - maybe 20 on a good month.

Can it be done, can i realistically be competitive in PK, have a good strong presence in RP and achieve character goals.

I'm looking forward to any views on this, as i'm really at the point where i need to make a decision where i should spend what little spare time i have available.

It CAN be done...very, very tough. Think about how long each session would be, 30-50 minutes? Your tough fights are going to last at least that probably, with all the chasing, waiting, etc. Throw on RP time, consumable collection, re-eq times....

Very tough to REALLY be a presence with only 15 hours a month. I'm not sure what the rare purge time limit is anymore, but that's something to consider too.

It's a personal choice though. 15 hours a month may be worth it to you, I don't think it would be for me. When I am playing FL actively, it's usually a minimum of 1 hour a night, usually seven nights a week. So 30 hours minimum.....average though is more like 100 hours.

I usually pinn and train my characters in 60hrs, atleast well enough to compete. It has been my experience that for someone putting so little time in a month usually takes longer to build credit among their comrades. Therefor, it will take you about three months to get to pinn and aquire a place among the inner circle of your clan. Thats not bad, its not great, but not bad. At the end of the three months you will be settled in the new job, and will have house hunting down to a science. So I say, play what you would enjoy playing, that way you get 15-20hrs of quality gaming in each month, instead of deleting your project as soon as more play time becomes accessable out of boredom.
