K2 anyone tried this yet?

I smoked pot for longer than most of our pbase has been able to read. With the advent of K2 I have managed to completely quit. I admit in the beginning I thought yeah right this stuff can not really work. Well Kudos to the manufacturer, I will say the only drawback seems to be an inability to sit still for longer than an hour. Chores that would go undone if I still smoked pot, are often finished before the number of players on line grows out of the single digits in the mornings. If any of you are currently struggling with quiting smoking, you may want to check this stuff out. I havent smoked in 12 weeks, and have absolutely NO desire to do so again.

I'll be honest with you, a buddy of mine is all about K2... but honestly...something technically sold as an incense probably isn't good for direct inhalation. Not to mention the DISGUSTING flavors (seriously... I actually puked all over a blunt of the "pink" flavor from a single hit... and while not a champion of cannibus, I am at very least a man-at-arms of marijuana.) and how said flavors seem to linger on my palate. I mean... if you can stomach it, it does have an interesting effect... but VERY acquired taste at best. It is also very hard to find in my corner of the world, which might just be from a severe lack of hunting on my part.

Don't smoke that **** man.

K2 is not a plant in the sense that MJ is. It is random herbs thrown together and then sprayed with chemicals. One of the primary chemicals is synthetic THC, the creator of which has noted that no safety tests has been done on it and that it is not fit for human consumption.

However, that is only one of the many chemicals that are sprayed on the herbs.

Secondly, this stuff is coming right out of asia and there are multiple manufacturers. There are no standards of production and therefore the potency, # of chemicals, herbs in the bag, etc. are different every time. They could be spraying bleach and dog piss on this stuff and you would not know the difference.

Frankly, K2 would be an accident waiting to happen if not for the fact that there has been reported fatalities on it.

Just like the worse stuff, you don't know what you are getting or who you are getting it from, therefore it would be best NOT to smoke it.

Drug tests only check for certain illegal drugs being in your system - they don't check for lots of crap (bleach, chlorine, insecticides, etc.) that is still horrible to have in your body. They're a "have you been breaking the law?" test, not a "have you been healthy?" test.

K2 works pretty well. I like how the high kind of just fades away without leaving you feeling sluggish or lethargic. It tastes terrible and gives me a weird tension in my chest. I will never choose it over the chronic that I enjoy smoking, I'd rather just do without than be bound to smoking K2. My lungs take obliterates everytime I hit it. A lot of my pals smoke it, and it does work very well, and I do smoke it fairly often with them. Not my cup of tea, though. However, poppy tea is my cup of tea.

smoke bud or nothign at all.

course, I quit smoking cigs by throwing my pack out the window and never looked back.

The problem with k2 is it tastes like smoking dirty newspaper. I enjoy my bud, not just for the high but for the smooth taste and flavor I tend to get with my usual connections.

The only habanero's I smoked were on the grill. Keep the lid on though, the smoke burns your eyes. This kid working for me tells me K2 has now been banned and says they are smoking something called bikers blend, and something called black magic. It looks like the same thing they were smoking last week, but it smells like trash. Atleast when it was K2 it smelled like franken berry cereal. This bikers blend literally smells like garbage. I think I will just go without until I finish the libraries.

No, because regardless of whether I look like one or not (I don't have dreads, which tends to be a hallmark of hippies), I freaking hate hippies (or at least most people who would self-identify as one).

As for mmajunkie... I actually thought you were recommending them, which struck me as odd as I'd never heard of smoking sunflower petals before. But if your intent is just to mock people for discussing an activity (in this case, smoking) that they enjoy and you do not, then do us a favor and shut up.

But if your intent is just to mock people for discussing an illegal (in the USA)activity (in this case' date=' smoking [b']illegal substances) that they enjoy and you do not, then do us a favor and shut up.

Not to be a buzzkill, but I fixed your message Pali. I'm not saying don't talk about it, but I am saying don't act like the discussion is one that puts you on the moral high ground. The entire thread centers on banned substances and your willful acts of breaking the law, and yet you invoke the old adage of "if you don't have something positive to say..."

I'm not against marijuana, nor am I trying to judge anyone who does participate in the activity. I am against the self-appointed righteousness I see in many hardcore potheads.

People were talking about smoking all sorts of things in this thread, not just marijuana, and I was referring to the general act of smoking rather than the specific act of smoking marijuana. If you'll notice, my post was in response to the concept of smoking sunflower petals, which I'm sure is quite legal.

Also, I do not regard illegality as equivalent to immorality, so that line of reasoning fails to make me feel bad.

Its from noble birth' date=' the earth.[/quote']

THIS is the kind of hippie-style talk that I have a problem with - marijuana being a plant that occurs naturally does not, by that fact alone, make it something good to put into your body. All sorts of naturally-occurring plants will kill you.
