Lacuna Coil

Amy Lee - still remember everyone telling me two years after I started listening to her how great she was. I was like I told you that two years ago! Actually it's thanks to you Zrothum that I got hooked on her, should listen to thoughtless, their remaking of Korns song, pretty good.

Then I listen to American Pie and some other classics.

Social Distortion - Live at the Roxy

Queensryche - Empire

Thousand Foot Krutch - Phenomenon

Social Distortion - Sex, Love, & Rock N Roll

You have to love a punk band whose lead singer says "Hank Williams Sr. was way more punk than Sid Vicious ever hoped to be."

With that music, Balinor...I think there is a quote from a song I've been listening to, just for YOU.

"See, I think drugs have done some good things for us, I really do, and if you don't believe drugs have done some good things for us, do me a favor, go home tonight and take all your albums, and all your tapes, and all your cds, and burn them. Cause you know what, all the musicians that made all that great music that's enhanced your lives throughout the years....really ****ing high on drugs." Third Eye - Tool

The Chieftains

Chieftains? Get yourself some Old Blind Dogs, you'll not regret it so long as you enjoy the scottish side of things aswell.

Anyways, for me;

They Might Be Giants, Poets of the Fall, Old Blind Dogs, The Battlefield Band, Mustard's Retreat, Dave Carter and Tracy Grammer, and Mark Knopfler are the bands on regular rotation in my playlists, lately some Sufjan Stevens is climbing the charts.

I have one playlist with a bunch of classical (mostly baroque)

then there is the good old oldies playlist

beatles, stones, ccr, van morrison, ray charles, muddy waters, and other random blues/late 60's early 70's

I also have a hiphop playlist(90's) but pretty much anything post millenium has been slowly turned into generic "clubhop" and it all blows.
