mmajunkie
When you get tripped, you take lag that is dependant on YOUR size only. Doesn't matter who trips you, all that matters is how big you are. When YOU try to trip someone, your chance to fail is calculated on dex, size, luck, and proficiency. mya
Unfortunately that is the way the cookie crumble. Giant > Small in every aspect of the Game. A giant can bash a lot better than other races, and for longer. 0-4 rounds. But has the same chance as a Dwarf to trip someone and only gets laged by 0-2 round when triped. Well, there a sliiiiiiiight difference. A missed bash lags you for 3 rounds. A missed trip lags almost 3 times less though

jibber
A missed trip lags you one round, mya. So please, get the log to prove that it lags two -- it'll take you awhile to figure out that I'm right and you're wrong

Implementor Anume Posted September 10, 2010 Implementor Report Share Posted September 10, 2010 Jibber, Mya, actually you are both wrong The right answer is somewhere in between, so that both can occur.

Not one round, but not two rounds too. Something like 1,2-1,4... of course only immortals know the exact number.
Mali
So when a gnome trips a giant, the trip will be really strong. However when a gnome trips a gnome, its only medium strong. If a gnome trips a faerie...wait, gnomes can't trip faeries. Because they are too small, right? You would have to be a giant to trip a faerie.
