abghoul
Since i hear a rumor like... "Virigoth invented something to keep people from overpowering their HP" i dont dare improoving HP anymore, lets, unmmh, imagine: A Gnomish Ranger with 101 practice and 3 trains i could like, pump it up like crazy, but will i get reduced hp increase at lvl up as punishment? Will THE FIEND come and eat me alive when i convert all those practices? All skills over 75 and stats at maximum already, what to do with all those points, and ... when? Grim_Reefer
I've tested that theory. I didn't really notice any difference on whether or not I trained hp pre-50. But, if you want to be safe, just save up until you pinn, then pump your hp up. Make sure to save some for training cabal skills.
abghoul
I'll end up pushing all those points into con before i reach pinn if i dont, maybe.
Erana
There isn't any benefit to waiting til 50 to use your trains. You can use them at any rank for hp/moves/mana.
Mindflayer
I disagree here with you Erana. I found it viable as a newer player to save my trains at 50 to see what area my particular race/class/cabal combination could benefit from them the most. f0xx
I wouldn't advice spending trains purely on HP anyway.

This is a good point... but still, using them early will not cause him to miss out on hp he would have otherwise gotten while leveling up, and THAT was his question. abghoul
Yeah, that was it, a gnome gets 5 practice per lvl, 1 practice needed per skill and he got lvl 36 right now. SooooOooo,... 101 prac + 3 train makes 130 more hp, and still loads left for Cabal issues, or other fixes. Assuming i ever lvl up again, as this fellow gets slain by mobs alot, due to curiosity (my lil explorer), 130 more hp might help a little there. mmajunkie
I'd argue that 90% of characters should always spend trains on HP. With very few selections. FG Clerics of a certain cabal my desire trains in mana, Storm Giants possibly as well? Invokers may like their trains in mana. Out of all these, I've only dumped my trains into mana with Invoker. My FG Cleric went hp due to certain choices in his goal-path. Arguably, I think all other classes should be dumping trains in hp. Ninja, warrior, dk, thief, whomever. mya
Dwarven Clerics may also invest in Mana to level up Mana/HP ratio, due to high base HP. Expecialy if you go 1 prac.
