electroglyph
This is a work in progress. Most totals were obtained in a single rolling session, some are multiple sessions. Most max rolls reached within first 2000 rolls, others took as many as 30k(!) rolls. This list doesn't claim to be 100% accurate, it's simply a record of my observations. 'halfling cleric: 24 (50k rolls)' can be read as: in 50,000 rolls the maximum roll my script saw was 24. halfling thief: 24 (5k rolls) halfling cleric: 24 (50k rolls) halfling ranger: 23 (50k rolls) halfling bard: 23 (44k rolls) halfling adventurer: 22 (44k rolls) halfling warrior: 22 (45k rolls) halfling blademaster: 22 (44k rolls) duergar adventurer: 25 (7k rolls) duergar warrior: 25 (7k rolls) duergar berserker: 25 (7k rolls) duergar blademaster: 25 (7k rolls) duergar cleric: 25 (7k rolls) duergar thief: 24 (16k rolls) fire adventurer: 22 (6k rolls) fire warrior: 22 (6k rolls) fire berserker: 22 (6k rolls) fire cleric: 19 (63k rolls) feral adventurer: 25 (8k rolls) feral warrior: 25 (8k rolls) feral ranger: 25 (8k rolls) feral cleric: 25 (8k rolls) feral thief: 25 (8k rolls) feral ninja: 25 (8k rolls) feral blademaster: 25 (8k rolls) storm warrior: 23 (9k rolls) storm berserker: 23 (9k rolls) storm adventurer: 23 (9k rolls) storm cleric: 20 (66k rolls) gnome invoker: 27 (48k rolls) gnome ranger: 25 (48k rolls) gnome bard: 25 (48k rolls) gnome thief: 24 (48k rolls) gnome adventurer: 26 (48k rolls) gnome warrior: 26 (48k rolls) gnome battlemage: 26 (48k rolls) gnome blademaster: 26 (48k rolls) illithid adventurer: 23 (67k rolls) illithid necromancer: 25 (10k rolls) stone adventurer: 21 (11k rolls) stone warrior: 21 (11k rolls) stone berserker: 21 (11k rolls) stone ranger: 20 (11k rolls) ogre ranger: 25 (65k rolls) ogre adventurer: 26 (8k rolls) ogre warrior: 26 (8k rolls) ogre berserker: 26 (8k rolls) minotaur warrior: 24 (11k rolls) minotaur adventurer: 24 (7k rolls) minotaur berserker: 24 (7k rolls) half-elf adventurer: 23 (12k rolls) half-elf warrior: 23 (12k rolls) half-elf blademaster: 23 (12k rolls) half-elf ranger: 24 (12k rolls) half-elf paladin: 24 (12k rolls) half-elf thief: 24 (12k rolls) half-elf bard: 24 (12k rolls) half-elf ninja: 25 (12k rolls) half-elf monk: 25 (12k rolls) werebeast adventurer: 23 (10k rolls) werebeast berserker: 23 (8k rolls) werebeast ranger: 23 (8k rolls) human ranger: 22 (18k rolls) human adventurer: 23 (18k rolls) human warrior: 23 (18k rolls) human ninja: 23 (18k rolls) human berserker: 23 (18k rolls) human paladin: 23 (18k rolls) human thief: 23 (18k rolls) human dark-knight: 23 (18k rolls) human cleric: 23 (10k rolls) human monk: 23 (10k rolls) human invoker: 23 (10k rolls) human battlemage: 23 (10k rolls) human necromancer: 23 (10k rolls) human bard: 23 (9k rolls) human blademaster: 23 (9k rolls) avian adventurer: 25 (34k rolls) avian warrior: 25 (34k rolls) avian blademaster: 25 (25k rolls) avian dark-knight: 25 (34k rolls) avian thief: 26 (25k rolls) avian ninja: 26 (25k rolls) avian invoker: 26 (25k rolls) avian necromancer: 26 (25k rolls) avian battlemage: 26 (25k rolls) avian bard: 26 (25k rolls) dwarf adventurer: 26 (57k rolls) dwarf warrior: 26 (57k rolls) dwarf berserker: 26 (57k rolls) dwarf cleric: 26 (57k rolls) dwarf bard: 26 (57k rolls) dwarf blademaster: 26 (57k rolls) slith adventurer: 24 (19k rolls) slith warrior: 24 (19k rolls) slith thief: 24 (19k rolls) slith blademaster: 24 (19k rolls) drow adventurer: 23 (19k rolls) drow warrior: 23 (19k rolls) drow dark-knight: 23 (31k rolls) drow thief: 25 (19k rolls) drow ninja: 24 (31k rolls) drow cleric: 25 (31k rolls) drow invoker: 25 (22k rolls) drow battlemage: 25 (10k rolls) drow necromancer: 25 (10k rolls) drow blademaster: 23 (10k rolls) faerie adventurer: 17 (21k rolls) faerie thief: 19 (21k rolls) faerie invoker: 20 (21k rolls) faerie battlemage: 20 (21k rolls) faerie bard: 18 (21k rolls) elf adventurer: 23 (41k rolls) elf warrior: 23 (32k rolls) elf ranger: 24 (32k rolls) elf paladin: 24 (32k rolls) elf thief: 25 (32k rolls) elf ninja: 25 (32k rolls) elf cleric: 26 (32k rolls) elf invoker: 26 (32k rolls) elf battlemage: 26 (32k rolls) elf bard: 24 (32k rolls) elf blademaster: 23 (12k rolls)

Tantangel
That's actually very helpful for anyone. Thank you for taking the time to actually do that. Now I know it's better to go Fire Adventurer THEN Cleric, though I probably would do that anyways if I ever planned on doing it.

electroglyph
Thanks jibber, meant to do that. Looks like I caught a bit of heat for those parallel connections. After posting my list I noticed that my old IP address now showed this: [E]nter Aabahran Game Status: Open for Play [C]reate Character Site Status: By Approval Only. [H]elp Files System Time [D]isconnect Sun Feb 26 05:05:21 2012 Not sure if was something done automatically by code or if someone intervened, but it's over now. Staff can shoot me a PM if they want to yell at me for anything.

Ayroduth
I still feel there shouldnt even be a rolling system. With the addition of triggers and rollers, its just the same as always getting the max roll.
f0xx
So how should the points be distributed then?

Ayroduth
Foxx, you would distribute the points as you would normally when you got a roll. Its the same max roll you can possibly get just without having to actually roll.
Magick
I believe what he means is in which ratio would you distribute your points gained? For example when rolling, I leave primarily leave 2 points out of con, possibly 1-2 out of int and up to 3 points out of dex/str. Depending on race/class/max roll. Ayroduth
Yeah, you would distribute the points how you would normally. That wouldnt change. It would just cut out the literal rolling part. No more rollers/triggers. They defeat the purpose of the roller anyway.
