Ghrundor
How come the Kreyis is never in circulation? Does the mob have to be ported in? I liked seeing the Kreyis around when Kurvikhel was around.

Implementor Volgathras Posted October 12, 2010 Implementor Report Share Posted October 12, 2010 Kreyis was deemed too powerful for your puny mortal shells - occasionally it slips from our protection, but when and where are for only the gods to know. Where's that Brehan's fellow? He's ancient enough he might be a god.....
jibber
Last time it came down, a battlemage who never logs on happened to be on.. got the Kreyis.. and then disappeared. We need someone who sticks around to get it.

mya
"Kreyis was deemed too powerful for your puny mortal shells". The weapon is a sightly improved Dragon slayer. I have seen people give it away because of it's gimpage.

Implementor Anume Posted October 12, 2010 Implementor Report Share Posted October 12, 2010 Wathok used to change Kreyis regularly, mostly while it was held by some player. All the more surprise if the average suddenly was 5 lower than when they last checked
Atticus
What is this Kreyis? I havent ever heard of it before...
mya
Kreyis in its neutral form is a single-bladed weapon two feet in length. But legend says that it will change its length, width, and hilt-to-blade ratio to fit its current master, whoever that may be. The greasy, grey-oily surface of this weapon lends credence to that theory. It is not, however, just a nifty shapeshifting weapon. The Sacrosanct Blade's amorphous property is only one of many that Forgemaster Wathok has implemented in the hope that anyone and everyone can use his creation. The God's hard work resulted in many extra benefits; who profits from them depends entirely on the wielder. There is one particular spot on Kreyis that never changes: a phrase carved at the direct centre of the blade. It reads: I am Kreyis the Sacrosanct Blade Wathok is my Father Aabahran is my Master What happened to the Forgemaster? Nobody knows. Some say he commited suicide out of embarassment, having considered Kreyis (and thus himself) a failure. Others claim that Wathok killed himself with Kreyis as proof of the weapon's power. There are many other stories, each one as unsubstantiated as the next. Whatever the truth is, there is no reason to believe that Wathok is dead at all for the Gods decide for themselves when they come and when they go. Dale
As Kurvikhel falls to the floor, defeated, Kreyis disappears from Kurvikhel and reappears on the floor. A stern voice from within Kreyis speaks, "Kurvikhel was not powerful enough to keep me. Who shall be my new master? [sTALKER]: 'Gruudik has triumphed over Kurvikhel!' That's how it's done. And btw it was way better than a dragon slayer.

Dale
Yeah, global emote everyone sees will signal the mob. I was the fist one there, Killed it. But I was firebreathed and Kurvi came in with is army and took the blade. Didn't even have the courtesy of killing me. I eventually got lucky and caught him offguard. The-Nameless
I remember kurvikhel demanded my invokers prescence for RP. In a single room. WIth a locked door. His army was inside. THankfully I know kurvi is business minded and if he wanted to kill me he could have waxed my cabal guard way easier than luring me into a trap
