jekyllvhyde
Is it for fear of criticism? Just forgetting to open a log when you get online? I personally open up a temp log when I remember, if something good happens I close it and rename it the char I fought's name.txt Perhaps people only want to post logs where they own someone? I get a ton of enjoyment out of them.
Imoutgoodbye
I just forget to toggle it on. Gmud, ya know. That and those files become HUGE. Short fights are rare these days.
Twinblades713
Most of my fights are landslide victories for or against me. Not usually supposed to submit those unless it was particularly interesting.
Dale
I've submitted a few, been denied my share because I am lazy with logging. Plus it's nearly impossible to get in a fight with a Vampire or Masokant(and I have many with Masokant!) and edit out all the qrace/cabal skills and spells. And every fight I have with Kurv goes very quickly one way or the other cept one which he gets away from me(bastard!). I would -love- to see the last fight between Grum and Sartech though. jekyllvhyde
I use mudmaster, super oldschool with it. The logs seem few and far between in their dates. I think it also helps people learn different strategies from both the logs and the comments.
Kyzarius
I have submitted some, but they are kind of one sided..
alldaymuddin
I just don't know how, I would show me getting my Arse Whipped and me Whoopin, I would show it all, I love to be involved in pk, working on tyhe rp part. Sometimes thats why I lose, rp reasons. Or because I wait too long before running because I am close to winning.

jekyllvhyde
Use brief for room descriptions and it may take time to edit but it's fun and educational for me to read :-) Also it'll help others maybe give you some pointers who've been there before. -Totenkopf-
Huge PITA to edit logs. Most of mine have some sort of qrace/cabal crap in them. I posted a good one of Philantees up, took the time to edit out everything, and still got told it was no good Thats about when I gave up. I've literally got hundreds upon hundreds of logs. -Totenkopf-
Imms, it was good, but no good, basically got told not to bother with vampire logs are fully editing them makes them uninteresting.
Kyzarius
I always wondered why we bother editing logs like that, i mean wooo they get to see the name of a skill. Its not like the log ever offers much clear indicator to anything else, ie. effects, duration other than damage

Mindflayer
The editing of PK logs sadly keeps the veteran players ahead of the newer ones. By removing certain skills/equipment affects, new comers lose out on learning strategies that might potentially make them more of a threat. If there's one thing I don't like about this mud its the Gestapo-like control of information. It's extremely counter-intuitive to a learning curve. Starting fresh on any mud is already overwhelming. I also think that it would help to work out some of the balancing and bugs that exist in the game if we all had free open discussion. Just my two cents. Just my two cents.[/quote'] being able to see the abilities proc in combat is way different from discussing them in statistical and tactical fashion. I would NOT want anyone to be able to hold open discussion about cabal power or q-thing abilities on the forum. HOWEVER! I do think we could let the abilities be named what they are in the logs. At least this way newer players get to have a taste of the shiney things out there. In truth, watching an undedited log would be no different than being in the fight itself and scrolling back to check your log. Though I am sure this has served some purpose, I just never quite agreed with it for pk logs that is.
