I was under the impression that you could transform at 15. Finally hit lvl but no luck, am I doing something wrong?

Have you practiced it (transform)? I believe it needs to be practiced iirc.

Not true.

However, transforming in combat reduces both the mana used to transform, and the lag caused by transform.

Valek is right that it's easier to transform while in combat, I would just like to re-iterate that it's EXTREMELY easier to do so while in combat.

Also, your +% you have in it increases your chance to transform. (being at 75 is mediocre, but being at 100 you'll notice a change).
