Sandbox
if minos are giant sized how come they cannot dual wield any 2h items other than axes? like for example a 2h mace and a 1h dagger?
Hilltop
Correct me if I'm wrong but they should be able to, most giants can use a 2h in one hand, a 1h in the other. Minotaurs can use a 2h axe in each hand as a racial perk. I haven't played a mino in a long time.
tassinvegeta
There was a recent change that disallowed the use of priming a lighter 2h weapon over a heavier 1h weapon. Maybe you were doing this by accident?
Sandbox
Minos have always had this problem I believe. With exception to axes ofcourse.
f0xx
Minos have always had this problem I believe. With exception to axes ofcourse. I don't think thats true. Minos should be able to wield two handed weapons in their first hand. And two two-handed axes at the same time. If things are not like that, then I think that's a bug. Sandbox
The axe thing only works if Its two axes. As for any other 2 handed you can't dual wield a 2nd item like a 4str dagger.
Croyvern
Minotaur > Mansized vs Bash. Minotaurs are NOT Giant sized. Eight feet tall, and you want a pole arm in your right hand? Ridiculous. IMO
mya
Some daggers are pretty heavy. Rokujan is like 20. Check if it's not a weight thing. Although normally weight means you need more STR to wield, this rule has exceptions.
Implementor Anume Posted November 6, 2010 Implementor Report Share Posted November 6, 2010 You can no longer use a twohanded weapon in your offhand. Exception: minos can dual wield any axes as a racial bonus. Edit: re Jibber just below my post: it was not a bug, we decided to make an exception as a racial bonus. jibber
Minotaurs ARE giant sized. There was a bug before (which was just squashed on 11/03/2010) that didn't allow a minotaur to dual wield a two-handed axe, because of the not allowing giants to dual-wield two-handed items. As for staffs/polearms being dual wielded in off-hand -- this hasn't been allowed -ever-, except before Viri fixed it, I believe.

IMO For the game Minotaurs are the same size as giants. What you put on the description is another thing.
