Guest Dogmeat
Does anyone else think it's funny how quite a few of the ninja titles are named after throws in judo? Ones I noticed were the Tai Otoshi the Seio Nage the Ogoshi the Osotogari

WarriorCleric
According to Tony Sensai, I'm not a big Judo guy, I'm a little Judo guy, so I must learn the little judo guy variations. But as far as Ninja titles go, Well, look at their lag skill; grapple, so it sorta makes sense. But as far as Ninja-Judo titles go, The Master of Ukemi always makes me smirk, but I'm a big fan of the Harai Goshi myself WC.
Guest Dogmeat
There are throws in ninjitsu, I have dabbled in that slightly myself. I prefer judo though.
WarriorCleric
Two long time friends, one a student of Judo, the other of Karate were training with each other at the local dojo when all of a sudden a rabid dog came charging in. The Karateka lept into action and kill the wild beast. A new reporter, who was doing an unrelated article on how Judoka are the worlds greatest lovers, came up to the man and said; 'Man, that was amazing, do you mind if I write a story about it? I will title it 'Judoka saves dojo from rabid beast!'' To which the Karateka replied; 'Thank you, and please do, but I do not practice Judo.' 'Oh, then how about 'Jujits saves dojo from dog!' replied the reporter. Again the Karateka replied; 'I thank you again, but I do not practice Jujitsu, I study Karate.' With a sigh the reporter said; 'Well in that case, 'Savage man kills beloved family pet.'' A joke we enjoyed at my old club. Nothing wrong with Karate, it's just a joke. Guest Dogmeat
haha, thats quite a good one. I only started in like june last year, but I'm really enjoying it, what Kyu are you?
WarriorCleric
San Kyu, I did it almost religously for two years, six days a week for as much mat time as I could get. Then I came out here to Buffalo and lacked the funds to practice for a while, so my training for the last three years has been spotty, with some crumby mix martial arts clubs, but I'm back in the Dojo now, when the semester ends, it's back to five days a week. Judo, it keeps me sane. WC
