f0xx
Perhaps I am the only one here that doesn't see any connection between lawful evil and this character in the comics. Yes the character is evil, but how did you get the impression of him being lawful? The way the character acts is fitting for any evil person, actually the way he acts is fitting for a neutral and a good person too, especially the way it is presented with no background we can't make a conclusion that the character in question is evil at all (not even gonna talk about lawful). Balgashang
he's a royal, duh, thats why he would work with a lawful good against a chaotic evil
f0xx
he's a royal' date=' duh, thats why he would work with a lawful good against a chaotic evil[/quote'] That's exactly what I am talking about.. How do you know he is royal? How do you know the other guy is lawful good? He pretty much seems like a purity follower which are not lawful. "thats why he would work with a lawful good against a chaotic evil" <- And this is so wrong. Evils are allowed to work with (manupulate) goods. It is goods that are not allowed to work with evils, just as the comics illustrates that so well. And how the hell do you know that the person they are working against is chaotic evil? In one sentence you made 3 assumptions (which might as well be wrong) and one completely false statement. Then people wonder why aligns and ethos are not RPed properly. The only think which this comics can be used for is how a purity follower should behave. Other than that we simply don't have enough background info (except that the "evil" character is dressed in black) to make assumptions.
jekyllvhyde
Foxx, mya said she reads the comics all the time so maybe she has more background on it. I didn't get the connection either. As a Lawful Evil I RP someone who's trying to subvert the system for their own benefit usually. Like a corrupt cop or politician.
Archbishop Monk
All I'll say is you're looking at that one comic and reading into it. Try reading the what ~100 parts before it and then decide.
Balgashang
He stated he was the ruler of one third of the world/continent. How would that not be a lawful, he's definetly evil. So...you're saying lawful goods and lawful evils will not work together to accomplish a goal. So thats why Shufei left and there are no goods in tribunal. Good one Foxx

mya
The dad is Evil, he just Spelled his son name in a mountain side with escaped prisoners working as human torches. The dad is lawful, because he goes at great expenses to not lie in instances where he would greatly benefit by lieing, and acts according to that ethos. The Son is a Bard/Wizard???/Obscure Prestige Class Dashing Swordsman. He is good aligned. There are lots of good panels on this comic. Most of them requiring some background. So you are better of starting by reading the first. It's pretty hilarious most of the time. There is a unknown gender elven Wizard. A Chaotic Evil halfling Ranger/Barbarian, akin to Black mage. A Human Warrior, who is black and has a MBA (party leader). A female thief, with some female drama. A Dwarven Good Lawful Cleric, who fears trees. And this Good Bard who is dumb as a Door, most of the time. And there are very interesting concepts explored. A lawful good Paladin who is high might and that acts a lot like a evil character. A Lich bent on world domination with a serious sick sense of humor, who has no remorse's in sacrificing his minions. A Evil Cleric Goblin (Lich sidekick) who tries to preserve the minions. A noble and humble Paladin that lives through the most ridicule situation. A evil mirror party of (clone likes) antagonists lead by the Bards evil twin brother, a Fighter/Wizard/Thief. It's pretty fun most of the time. Hoo, and the Evil Halfling ranger who can't track is on the team, because they figured it out, that the world is safer with him under the watchful fighter eyes.
