The-Nameless
after the last couple days I ****ing need one. Keep one thing in mind when your playing this game, you are playing against other people who put time, and work into their chars.
Imoutgoodbye
If I may be so bold, I would first like to state that I understand the frustration. However, on the flip side, and this is something I came to terms with and started posting my "frustration posts" in the prayer forum as a way to vent without it being seen by the source of my frustrations. Why? What is this however? Why shouldn't I lash out in general? Just think it over and let me know what conclusion you come to from the other end. If you don't care about any conclusions you come up with you disrespect yourself.
The-Nameless
Well I would like people who did shady things today, even if not to me, to think wow, did what I did today cause us to lose a player? Maybe that can assist if I plant the seed in the head of the masses
Mindflayer
Keep one thing in mind when your playing this game' date=' you are playing against other people who put time, and work into their chars.[/quote'] So don't throw them away so quickly. That was a tough lesson for me to learn. I really wish I had never deleted Kurvikhel.
jibber
A lot of people lately seem to only care about themselves. This player base has never been one to think about others, unfortunately. That being said, I hope you can come back and start taking names (of characters of course) and hopefully get over whatever crap you had to deal with. Remember, if it irritates you so much and the player decided to do it, what's to say you can't do the same thing back and show them the short end of a stick? Considering whatever they did was most likely not against the rules, and perhaps only against the rules of having a conscience....

Maybe that can assist if I plant the seed in the head of the masses Not everything may seem right to us looking from where we are, but I've done some things in the past that pissed people off. As long as I don't break any solid set-forth rules, I can do as I please and so can anyone else. Everyone puts hard work into their characters. There are many ways to drive someone off. But what's most notable to me is the use of trying to influence via the forums in an OOC manner the way any one person treats other characters through their character. As I said before, I understand where you're coming from. I've also seen the staff here take into account dealings with "shadiness" and general "douchebaggery". Being on the line isn't always good for your health in these matters. The general playerbase has come a long ways. The seed's been there for a while. It's almost a tree. Mindflayer
"douchebaggery" The greatest word of all time, simple yet pleasing in its onomatopoeic beauty. For one to commit douchebaggery, he/she is not limited to but may include some or perhaps all of the following behaviors: - the wearing of flat-billed baseball caps backwards - using an enormous amount of gel to spike the hair porcupine style - wearing polo shirts or any other type of shirt with the collar popped, a disgusting gesture that should've died in the 1980s with parachute pants - the sideways peace sign gesture - overdone pursing of the lips - too many visits to the tanning salon - pointing at oneself, holding up beer cans, or making other obscenely immature gestures in solo or group photos - following trends for the sake of fitting in (see "goatee") - adding "The" or the suffix "-ster" to one's name, as in "The Rickster" See Guido or perhaps frat boy for more. Essentially, "douchebaggery" is one of those things as easily understood by definition as it is by one's demonstrations of it. At least guys with mullets can cut their hair, but there seems to be no cure for the douchebaggery exhibited by frat boys overcompensating for their small members. This is why I'm now clean shaven, but, damnit, I will pop the collars on my polo shirts whenever I want. THUNDERCATS, HO!
Dale
You'll be back. One thing you need to remember is that you can't put anything past anybody. Even if you think you know someone their char IG might act a differant way. You can't expect people to not want to get ahead. And to Mindflayer: Don't feel so bad about Kurvikhel, I deleted Gruudik aswell in maybe this very same style. I severely regret it.
