[50 Half Ran] <PK> [WARMASTER] (Battle [L]) (Lionspride [L]) Jaspurr the Relentless,

Man, what a fun character to play. I'm very sorry that I could not see him through to the very end. Since I was cabal booted, my last two notes to all will hopefully be sent by HERALD.

Jaspurr is my best character to date, and he accomplished nearly all the goals he set out to do. The only two I did not complete were seeing the Lion's plot to the end and not getting the Combat tattoo.

Some things I would like to note:

Why he's gone: I simply don't have the time. Every time I vow to play more, I just can't find the time and I disappoint myself and others by making promises I can't keep. Teaching, coaching, church, social life, girlfriend = no time for FL unfortunately...not until Summer at least.

Warmaster: Excellent cabal to learn how to PK with. Great group of players and characters. Since Savants were my main opponents, I tried to dress in mostly saves gear. It did leave me more vulnerable to melee types even though WM's are supposed to be the elite melees

The Lion's Pride Plot: This was an idea I cooked up when Volgathras was helping me after I OOC prayed that I was losing interest in the character. He told me about the concept of having goals, and I really took to that. I came up with the basic concept, but Imms, particularly Volg, pushed it. Very awesome, and I'm sorry I can't see it to the end. Kudos to all the players and Imms who are taking it farther and farther. Hopefully Jaspurr will having a bigger impact on the plot with his death than trying to hold on to life.

Now for the best part - SHOUTOUTS!

- Volg - THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.

-Gradrel - Gave me my title, a cool custom weapon, and the courage and confidence to keep playing. You really pushed me and this character to a new level and brought me my first bit of success!

- Lytholm - Not much interaction, but thanks for all the opportunities, especially the E and L spots.

- Drakken - I learned SO much about PK with you, and I love turning traditional RP's on their heads. You helped with that. Jaspurr talked about you long after your disappearance, even calling you his "best friend."

- Sepahoona - You killed me repeatedly when I played my other cabaled character, Nahrgrodj. I thought, I'd really like to beat this guy and thought about the Halfling Ranger combo. I didn't know about what WM's were all about, and I tried them. I wish I coulda somehow sanc'd my pets. Anyway, I did beat you a few times, but overall I think you're a far superior in PK situations. Also, I really love your creativity with RP.

- Taos - Keep up all the hard work. I love that you embody the work ethic and spirit of a Warmaster. Push yourself to the very end if you can. I really regret having to cut Jaspurr short. If you don't have to stop playing him, don't. Take it all the way. Who knows how far you'll go?

- Traexin - Great friend of Jaspurr. I wish we both could have continued further.

- Shufei - I just always like your character. Fun friendship and fun challenges. I wish that last one had not resulted in a death and nothing on a record. I also wish I could have been more active with the faction. Keep up the good fight and take over the fight against the Empire as the new lion!

- Sartach - Badass fighter. Cool elder. Always helpful with general advice and fun to RP with.

- Grum - Epic battles. Was looking forward to more with the coming plot. Thanks for all the help with everything!

- Thulgan - Thanks for lots of PK advice and help with general leadership.

-Vibbletick - What a twist! How clever! Wish I could be there through this.

Other great friends who had a big impact on Jaspurr, all had stellar RP and great Pk:

-Zaruuk

- Thran

- Skwizgarr

- Heiku

- Vakuul

- Rygsne

- Heureush

- MANY, MANY, MANY others!

Well said Kyz.

This is like finishing a great series. So sad to see you go.

It was crazy fighting you. Every single time i fought you you get better exponentially. I dunno what to say about you leaving but I called it long before anything that you where gonna go far, and do well. Sorry that he met his end. I saw no other end but a condeath for Jaspurr. Best of luck on your next!

Jaspurr was, in my opinion, an example of what we should all strive for with our characters. You the player were dedicated, steadfast, willing to learn and reacted to the events which occurred around you to make your character dynamic and ultimately memorable. Major, major props.

We'll see you in the summer.

Oh boy, one of my favourite character goes away :(

I've been a huge fan of Jaspurr from the time when he was inductee and I played Vakuul. Seeing how easy it was to defeat you at the start I thought I wouldn't have much problems, but as Emp said, every next meeting your skill was exponentially increasing.

And it's not just that, your attitude and approach towards the Warmaster RP was so good. I don't mean the fact that you died a lot. I hated that. But the ever growing desire to learn and improve is what drives warmaster. I believe that RP angle is actually stronger than the honor RP. Every single time I fought you I always had a huge smile on my face, even that time when I died. I've gone through that same phase which Jaspurr went through and when I saw how your power grew - I call it "from worm to titan" stage. And this is not a stage through which only your character goes. You as a player go through this stage same stage too.

After Jaspurr you will notice that you will be able to PK with anything much better than you usually were. Hopefully the same will apply to RP. Nowadays I find RP much harder than PK, but that's another subject.

After I shelved Vakuul I became more active with Sartach. Jaspurr was my best friend IG. Few times I was *VERY* close to deletion. I still remember that motivation speech you pulled in Elium. I was very sad when your play times on Jaspurr decreased. Eventually it was quite clear what was going to happen.

Overall, Jaspurr was a great great character. Over time you will find that the nostalgia over him and WM becomes greater, so you inevitably roll another WM and I hope it will be as good as him. I have to say, Jaspurr is the best character for this year in my eyes. And that comes not just from the fact that he was strong, but more from the fact that you improved and achieved a lot with him.

I was there when I was walking over you with Vakuul. I was there when you were asking me in despair how can you possibly do anything against Sepa. Then I was there when you defeated my character. I was there when you defeated Sepa. I was there with you when you got your Title and the spear.

I wish I was there for the Lion's pride RP too, but unfortunately things were meant to go that way. You are a true gem of a player. I hope RP permits you to spend more time in game. We need you.

Good luck in RP and I hope you come back soon.

[edit] Well, Volg is obviously better with english than me and he managed to say everything I wanted with much less words. Well done on making me look funny you bad demon.

Ye missed Crasemir out, matey. Jaspurr was one of the best chars I've seen around nowadays. Always helpful, interesting to talk with, a challenge to fight. You have my congratulations on a pretty well played char. I do hope that I stick around long enough to interact with one of your next chars.

Did you remake Crasemir? Cause I could've sworn you had him (same race/class) back in 2007? Am I mistaken?

I know all to well the perils of not having enough time to play. I am also faced with that scenario, and I really, really want to be able to dedicate more time, but it is frustratingly difficult to get the amount of time I will need to re-equip and gather what I will need. Hopefully soon that will change.
