mya
04/11/10 Minotaur armourer in Minoma now linked. Finally, I been bugging this for 1 year every-time i got that guildquest. 04/11/10 Mobs not attacking on a failed charm bug fixed. 06/11/10 Healers now have a two round lag when casting heal while fighting a PC. WTF??? Come on, what is the point of PKing with a Healer if your best skill and class defining gets nerfed in PK? Healers are getting beaten down year after year. Gate person, Lost. Ressurection, Nerfed. PK demon, Lost. Heal, 2 rounds. 03/12/10 Ancient scroll moved to Tuo's inventory. Reply With Quote What does this changes? The chest was no-pick. Haaa, now you have to request all scrolls, instead of requesting key and waiting for them to respawn in chest. 04/11/10 High level malforms will now lose a set amount of EXP on player death. ??? What does this means?
Implementor Anume Posted December 3, 2010 Implementor Report Share Posted December 3, 2010 Re Mya: still only one round of lag on heal if they are not currently fighting a pc. So... flee and heal like anyone else? Malforms now drain - slightly- even as high level.
tassinvegeta
Nice changes. I especially like the malform and Imm watching all qclass applicants changes. I'm curious about the undead skill change maybe that zombie 2nd life was put in Just wondering, why was the 2 round lag put in for healers and not other communers? Mmm Coffee
What other communers have the HEAL spell?

jibber
Presumably level 8 and above where before no experience was lost from the weapon, and now there is.
tassinvegeta
What other communers have the HEAL spell? Ahh I automatically thought cure critical. Never played a healer so I don't know. Also realized the affect of the undead skill was changed and not the skill itself.
mya
Healers by fleeing to heal are wasting divine retrivution and mana. I don't even play healers and I think that there was no need for this change.
Imoutgoodbye
08/11/10 Volgathras is now the deity of Dischord. Erana is now the deity of Order. *cat calls, whistles, and makes vague references about orifices* Way to go! Deities! EDIT: Oh, and I'm watching both of you. I'm like Santa Clause. If you're not nice, no ambrosia for Christmas.
megayeah
The malform change is stupid! Do sader weapons lose exp as well? If not, I'm gonna be really unhappy.

mya
A Healer has only Armor/Shield/Stone as clerics in the AC cantrips. Same thing my DK recites in 1 command. And Accession, that has a cool down. Except for Acession, Healers are like any other class AC wise. Healers give up Offense by a strong defense in the form of Healing. They give up Enhanced Damage and Frenzy and offensive spell. Having only Dispel Evil/Undead and Divine Retribution as damage dealers. Even then Divine Retribution is very nerfed, as you only get 1 attack vs PC. Vuln damage vs Undead, and Half Damage vs Neutral. And Divine Retribution loses 1 hour of duration for every room you move. Coupled with a very low initial duration of only 6 hours. To Offset his crap offense, they have strong defence in the form of Heal spell. 100 HP, at 1 round lag and 35 mana cost. This is basically what Healer did in PK. They casted Divine Retribution and Healed waiting for their opponent to run away. 2 rounds lag for heal, double the previous amount. Means that they cannot hope to heal the damage they take. Just like a Fire Shield Cleric cannot win just by spamming Cure Critical in Combat. This forces them to run, well, if they are running they are losing duration on Divine Retribution. Imposing more lag and additional Mana Cost from recasting it. This is not a minor impact on the Class. It's a Major one. It's Nerf after Nerf. I almost forgot how now you cannot cast Sanctuary on those younger than you, or even cast L50 bless on them. What is the point of being a Healer if you cannot aid others? If Healers get this Nerfed, they should get a bonus to something to balance it out. You down defense you up offense. Healers should get Enhanced Damage. Perhaps then Combat Healers, dedicated to Undead Vanquishing would be more common. Which leads me to rant about Vampires. When are we going to have a Vampire Nerf on Change log? Don't think you'll see it. They would be very unsurvivable, especially against certain opponents without it. Its evident they've been nerfed since my first three. I don't see what your biff with vamps is, I've never had a single problem fighting them. Only vampire I've ever died to was Gaebrael (conclave vamp) when I was a bit of a newb "WTF, how'd they find me" and Seium, who I suspect was Viris vamp, due to his 'special' abilities. Wipe the floor with the rest of them. You played a vamp Mya? I recommend you do so.

Cephirus
Ok guys. I think that is about as far as we need to take it. Everyone has their opinion and part of the game and keeping it interesting is figuring out the changes for oneself. Yeah it is cool to have an encyclopedic knowledge of the game, but where is the fun and mystery there? I am all for cataloging items and such, but there has to be something new to test out, something new to experiment with, otherwise things get stale.
