Well, the beta ends tomorrow. Some huge world ending event is planned...hehe mmo betas are great when they let the real evil baddy ruin the universe haha.

I must say the game looks like quite a fine piece of work. The final weeks of the Beta have seen the last of the major bugs tweaked out with some excellent updates from SOE.

The game itself is quite fun, and though I am sure post 1/11/11 it will see some slight tweaks to the console interface (mainly chat and text sizes on hd tv's) it is imo worth the money.

so if any of you were thinking about picking this one up, I wholeheartedly reccomend it.

see you online!

Seriously, how do you have the time?

You're a VP (I know computer related but still), you've got kids and a family.

I know you live the south right? Do you like football and or other time consuming activities?

lol.

Actually yes, my father and I just recently went to the packers vs falcons game sat 45 yard line row eleven. My kids are 9 and 11, so they do not require the life altering deviotion they used too. Yes we still haul them around to activities and the like, but when everyone is at home its kind of a "go in your own direction" kind of thing.

I tend to work from home and at the office, so I have very odd banker like hours too (which I set myself). Just works out that most afternoons and evenings, once we cook dinner as a family and such(debrief the kids on their days at school), leaves a 3 - 4 hours of personal time on most days. Especially weekends. Helps I have an awesome wife that really doesnt have a problem with gaming and such, she plays too most the time.

I lack this. She's awesome' date=' but she doesn't like the gaming.[/quote']

We played WoW together for the longest time, and games like diablo II (cant wait for diablo III).

Takes some insight on my end though, there are times when she just wants us time that if I miss the hints real trouble can brew. Though I have gotten better at noticing when I should back off the "me" time and spend a few days just hanging with her...then one afternoon she will tell me to "go play a game" so she can play whatever game she is currently in or watch all her tevo'ed shows.

I am sure its a sight though when, both kids, my wife and myself are sitting in the living room with music on the TV all on laptops or DS' or what not hah.
