Smote-Ize the Mob?

I have a question about Smotes and mobs, and I’m not sure if it’s a newbie thing or not, but to save the General Discussion from my banter, I'll post here.

How do immortals feel about players "abusing" smote to make it look like Mobs are talking, or doing actions? All I would have to do is (say I am John, the mob is Tom).

smote Tom slaps John upside the head, yelling, "Git outa' 'ere!"

smote John recoils and glares at Tom, then attacks him!

kill Tom

The first Smote is satisfied just because the name "John" is in there. You could easily do the same to other players, but somehow, that seems different (sorta because that -is- abuse). So again my questions are: is it abuse to use Smotes toward mobs in this way, and if not, do Immortals find that players using Smote as a form of the "switch" command appropriate?

Use of socials, emotes, pmotes, and smotes are always welcome provided they don't negatively impact game play or disrespectfully harass someone (beyond what is reasonable).

The most common is what Nomak described, especially from people outside the PK range of said Justice. I have long thought of all sorts of imaginative punishments for that sort of thing. Such crazy use of an RP tool is often totally out of RP context, and thus, punished. Same with emoting giving someone gold when buying something. These sorts of things are what we crack down on.

Heh, smoting mob interaction is awesome rp, especially when you can't find anyone else. The main reason I like being caballed is always having the cool pet you can have fun with...

Except those cabals without pets, they annoy me. Every cabal should have some pet...hehehe, even if he doesn't fight.
