Liadon Xiloscient
Right! So I've seen a couple different threads that listed which Cabals NEEDED players. Now I've just started this PK thing and it's exciting to say the least (NOT WITH LIADON IT ISN'T: LoL) but all the same, which "bad-guys" need more players? It's kinda sad to see so many badguys beat up by so many good guys. I wanna bite back.
jibber
Roll a Nexun. Few and far between right now and if there are any still in the cabal, they log on rarely, or log on late late late at night. Syndicate might be able to use some help, too. If you wanna stick with the 'good' wagon, you could roll a Savant and fight Warmasters..
Liadon Xiloscient
Yeah... The character I've just recently created isn't good by any means. Ask Anume. LoL I'll do some research into those groups, become one of them, then slay the rest of you. Or at least try...
Kyzarius
Nexus Syndicate both need (active) people.
Mmm Coffee
One thing to consider, as your first cabal'd character you might want to seek a cabal with at least one or two active chars to guide you along. Cabals introduce a whole new learning curve...along with rewards and frustrations.
Liadon Xiloscient
I have another character that's on her way to a Cabal. We all know who. LoL
f0xx
Liadon, if you are seeking to join a cabal pick a strong one i.e. Knight or Watcher. Just my 2 cents.

Croyvern
As stated earlier, you do not need the frustration of being alone in a cabal as a new player. Cabals grant extraordinary gifts, but these gifts have strings attached. When you pick a cabal you are likewise choosing an enemy.(Heralds Excluded) When you feel you can hold your own in PK as you do in RP, I feel Foxx has given you sound advice, choose a cabal that will have active mentors to guide you through the various duties you will be expected to perform. Whether those duties are the movement of cabal armies, or taking the head of some poor sap who has gotten himself on the Top10 list. If you go into a cabal that has few or no active characters, you will find yourself standing alone against the tide of war. Meaning you will have many enemies, causing you to be outnumbered on the battlefields, or hunted like a dog if you choose a cabal that does not have armies. Choose wisely and good luck. My first was a Savant, some say go Warmaster to learn to PK, but if you think about it, Savants have to fight Warmasters constantly. Six and half the dozen. Liadon Xiloscient
Well I'll do what feels best none-the-less. Thanks for the advice though! LoL
Magick
I'll say this again. You really like being on the wrong side of the learning curve. It's nice to see people taking risks. Mudder A: Walk down the mountain to get to the bottom. Mudder B: There's a nice scenic route to the bottom this way. Liadon: Oh, look. There's a cliff. mya
Taking risks is the best way to learn. IF you don't burn.
Implementor Anume Posted January 13, 2011 Implementor Report Share Posted January 13, 2011 I still say that for pk learning purposes WM is the best choice. Challenge anything that moves, ask for advise, condeath. THEN make either a Syndicate and go after anything that has a bounty. Anything. Being the aggressor will help and you'll learn a lot. OR make something that is the underdog at the time. If you just want to experience a cabal without too much of the pk aspect you have - additional to Herald - now also the choice to make a Merchant.
