KRins
A little spider is here, doing spidery things. Kyz is here, trying to train the spider... As to the original post. I've always found a pan (preferably hot and with oil in it) comes in handy if some bloke gets violent. Rising it is usually enough to make most people think twice. Worked well as a means to avoid violence when I lived with a couple other people in a shared appartment and some insane guy was starting trouble. Blazing eyes and a rised pan cool down most people rather fast. Do not look like a(n easy) victim. Lacking pans, feet and ellbows applied in the right places work too. I'll be sure to point this out to my daughter when she's a teenager as well And this is how you become the Goddess of death...deep wisdom... in the RUIN THE OTHER GUY'S SOUL department. Liadon Xiloscient
Oh nice, frying pans with hot liquids within. *jots down* I agree with you 100% too, NOT looking weak is the first step to avoiding most fights.

The-Nameless
I dont avoid fights, I do not often seek them either honestly. In rare cases (such as the original post) I would have adamantly sought assault. I grew up (for a bit) in a severely abusive home. As a young young teen I watched my step dad punch my mom like she was a man, and I saw all the aftermath. I cannot inflict that type of pain on someone. If I see a man hitting a woman I get involved every time, and cannot help myself. In public, at clubs, at the bar etc etc. I will always call the little boy out in a rude manner and beg for a fight. I cannot stand abusive spouses.

J.Twendrist
I wish I was there brothaman, the dude woulda never gotten a chance to retiliate lol, let alone throw you into a counter. My philosophy is that everyone else's right to swing their arm ends at the tip of my nose and vice versa. Once that lines been crossed though and some other person has shown hostile intent there is no way I'm going to let them beat me or anyone else. Demiterracotta
I've always found it amusing that when I hang out with my sister I'm considered the big mofo that will mess up your junk..... She's been studying Jujitsu and Tae Kwon Do for about six years now. No idea how far along she is, but I've seen her spar with some of her friends and she is competent enough to castrate some jerk with a look. However, I'm her brother, so she understands that given the chance I will always have first dibs. Which would involve me grabbing the bull horns hanging in my house and mino charging the P.O.S. in the junk. I have a trigger for /snort charge target
Mali
Just be careful throwing punches to dudes carrying knives or guns. Although sometimes you just have to kick someones butt, and the OP documented one of them, in most cases a situation can be avoided entirely. My goal is to avoid situations entirely. Elfrosto
Ever wonder why someone bothers to say no pun intended? It usually makes the statement a pun. Similar to saying "No disrespect but..." It's always followed by a disrespectful statement.
