Rensvert
So after almost 2 years of working on my first novel now for the first time today i sent out about 6 copies of my manuscript to respective agents hoping for a miracle but assuming I won't hear anything back. Now my manuscript is just under 93,000 words long so it is somewhat long for a first time manuscript. However as I like to call the next 12 months of my life crunch time for my manuscript I was wondering if anyone here would be willing to read my manuscript and give me some feedback on it. Now I do not expect anyone to read the whole thing as it is quite long and would require some serious time investment there are a few parts to my manuscript that I feel are lacking and could use some serious re-writing and more importantly a few more people reading it. As I have already sent 95% of my manuscript through a few different writing workshops online, I feel that all but about 30-45 pages are good these are the pages I would really like someone to read and give me some feedback on. Also please only constructive feedback as I have heard a lot of it's just plain bad, the plot doesn't make sense, and you just suck, and its just a big diary comments from several people most of whom I don't even know and to be fair they don't do me at lot of good. However just let me know via a post here or a private message if you would like to read it and give me some pointers or advice. Also just in case anyone is curious it is a fantasy/ mainstream fantasy novel for probably adult or young adult there is little profanity and no sexual scenes in the manuscript so it shouldn't offend anyone here too much. Imoutgoodbye
I'm sorry, I just can't condone reading anything where a guy wishes he was an apple and therein lies the condition for the metaphor of "magic apples". I do however chuckle whenever I see magic apples laying around in game.

Rensvert
Valek that was a short story I wrote ages ago now. This is not the same story and actually shares nothing n common with that one. However I must say I did my job as a writer with that story as it's been about 5 years since you read it and you still remember and talk about it which makes me smile. KRins
Well... I am not exactly a sparkling example of a writer, but I can barely drag myself out of bed during the day so I might as well do something constructive. sent you a PM with my email. That was the best parody of writing I have ever seen. It was hilarious. And don't forget how I got my hands on it. You yourself threw it in the trash. EDIT: I'm just ribbing you. It was so corny (the apple part) it actually worked. I just always felt (but never said until now) that you needed to dig in a little more. Everything moved too fast. The best part of fantasy and science fiction writing is that you get to develop your own ideas and characters. It takes a great deal of time to develop and expand upon them. Just relax and let it unfold. Expand upon what you already know later when you get the urge by creating new events or hinting at what's to come by giving tasty clues that maybe there's more to something than the reader thinks they know. Even if you don't know, they don't know that, and you've given yourself room to breathe. You just have to deliver at some point. EDIT2: If you want, I will be more than happy to look it over mid-May when school gets out. However, I have become given to giving vague suggestions so as to not intrude upon another's work. I do not, in any way, wish to make it appear I am attempting to get any sort of creative control.
Rensvert
Ha yeah I did throw that in the trash actually I'm not even sure I still have that story anywhere but yeah I did throw it away mainly because I thought the story sucked and it wasn't ever going to get finished. However just remind me later on when you want it as I am sure I will still be making corrections and re-writing it for the next several months. Also just to be clear this manuscript has far more going on in it that what it seems as when I wrote the outline and characters i realized that there was a lot more story than I originally thought and currently have an outline for about 5-7 novels in the series. However if nobody wants to attempt to sell my current manuscript then I've got a few other ideas that I could write about and start this hellish ordeal all over again. Similar to what Stephen King did with Carrie. Leaving it at the bottom of a drawer because he didn't like the way the characters came together. Rensvert
Just an update for those involved but, I had several people ask for a PDF format instead of a really long Word file so I am in the process of converting it from Word to a PDF file. Hopefully I will finish that tonight or tomorrow and will re-send it those that asked for it then. Also I got far more people than I expected I would so my thanks for that.
