Chayesh
Hello everyone. Welcome to our new forum home. Please take a moment to review the rules. All of the rules of the old forum still apply. 1. Name your characters on this forum at your own risk. We will not punish you for doing such, but we will also ignore any complaints of OOC. 2. No flaming or flamebaiting. 3. Characters in Pk logs and Rp logs may be named, as they are submitted anonymously. 4. You may discuss the location and detailed information of rare and unique items. 5. With the exception of quest race, quest class, cabal skills, mana charge, malform weapon, Tattoos (any) and selectable skills (including, for example, non-selected religion specific effects), all skills may be speculated about. This means if you know, please don't spoil other's fun. You may name cabal skills up to Trusted rank without going into detail of what the skill/ spell does. You do not have to edit these cabal skills out of pk logs, however remove their affect details in the affect list. 6. The location of cabals, clan halls, quest areas and quests are not to be revealed or hinted at. 7. The solutions to quests are not to be revealed or hinted at. 8. Objects in pk and rp logs may be shown in all their glory, unless these objects violate any other rule. If you are unsure, edit them. More will be added as needed. Thank you for your attention. Malchaeius
Posting for forum-banned people will result in the thread being deleted and the possibility of the person posting joining the person they are posting for the duration of the original ban. Wathok
Due to recent posts, all players should remind themselves of the forum rules by reading the first post in the thread, especially rules 5 and 6.
Malchaeius
Update. We have removed the restriction on naming who you play in the open forum. However, we will not entertain any complaints of OOC targeting. If you let people know who you play via the open forums, IM, e-mail, or what have you, then you must be prepared to face the consequences. However, if you are NOT the owner of the character, we WILL ban you if you reveal someone else's character without their permission. That is, only talk about your character if you wish. Then again, also feel free to not reveal your characters on the open forum until you are finished playing them. I would honestly suggest the latter, but we will no longer punish you if you decide against that.
Zhokril
At the request of several players, I want to remind you all of the clause regarding "we WILL ban you if you reveal someone else's character without their permission". DO NOT talk about other people's characters if you are not absolutely sure they have been revealed by their owner.
Malchaeius
Update. Objects and Object affects no longer need to be edited out of RP/PK logs unless they relate to a quest/quest race/Cabals/quest class/malform weapon/tattoos or any other prohibited items of discussion. Malchaeius
Update. I swear to God if someone posts another one of these "Put down another player" or "Gather the torches and pitch-forks so we can lynch this guy" threads, they will be taking a good long forum vacation. THE GENERAL FORUMS ARE NOT THE PLACE FOR THIS KIND OF GARBAGE. We have lost GOOD players before over this nonsense - and my patience for this is ZERO. If you feel something is shady, post on the prayer forum. We will investigate, and we will let you know if they have done wrong and if they have been punished. THIS IS THE LAST WARNING! Implementor Anume Posted March 23, 2011 Implementor Report Share Posted March 23, 2011 Update: We require our members to post in a polite and mature tone both when adressing other players and when adressing the staff. Please do not confuse constructive criticism - which is of course welcome - with flaming. In the past we've shown much more leniency to members flaming the staff than flaming each other. This will end now. The staff works here without any monetary compensation and has better things to do than swallow abuse. If you are not in a mindframe where you trust yourself to keep things polite either post on the Prayer Forum or wait till you've cooled down enough before you post.
