Hello, denizens of Aabahran.

We of the Forsaken Lands administrative staff have been busy discussing various proposals to make your time here more fun and enjoyable. There are a slew of proposed changes in the works, in various stages of completion, which I think you'll find very exciting.

One of these changes directly involves you, the players of our fantasy realm. In an attempt to generate interest, consolidate information, promote community and provide assistance we have chosen to establish the Community Managers Team.

This team, composed of volunteer players like you, will have various responsibilities aimed at improving the overall quality of our online family:

  • The upkeep and/or implementation of information resources (i.e. wiki page, facebook, website, etc.).
  • The organization of community activities designed to foster a family atmosphere and generate outside interest.
  • Implementing a promotion strategy to show new players the joys of the Forsaken Lands.
  • Consolidating and organizing information for our various community resources.
  • Providing assistance for old and new players alike to help make their experience as pleasant as possible.

If you feel you represent the members of our family, can emulate the spirit and goals we strive for, and are interested in giving back to the community, please contact either Amaruil or I with:

Ladies and gentlemen,

First, a big thank you goes out to everyone who sent in messeges expressing interest in the Community Managers Team ( henceforth to be known as the CMT cuz i'm lazy). Below is a list of CMT members and their responsibilities:

Twinblades: Fl facebook. The puppetmaster is pulling strings to get us known out there. With any luck, maybe we'll get sued for millions and have a movie made about us. Here's hopin'.

BigMac: Any and all things wiki are his domain. We're hoping to get some love from McDonalds for the inadvertant advertising.

Valek: Community Activities. Alright, so this probably means hours of verbose sermons about the majesty of FL - but that's cool.

Croyvern: Public Awarness. Does this mean endless public service announcements? While that may be fun, no. His job is to get the word out.

F-3000: Lead Website Manager. I dunno what the f stands for, but we'll see when he gets his hands on the website.

Super corny jokes aside, these guys have already gotten started improving our community, so join me in giving them a big thanks for their hard work.

If you have any ideas on how things could be better, let them know.

Everyone who joins the FL Facebook, I'll add here that once you join, please go to Usernames under Discussions and introduce yourself so we know who you are. I feel like there are alot of people who have no clue what it is that joined before the group was closed. I will remove many of the people that have never said one thing in the group, because I know how "facebook group trolls" do. The ones who didn't know what FL was and don't check won't miss it, and the ones who wish to be invited back will of course be allowed back in! :)
