Oni
Lost gets too wtf? There's polar bears everywhere on the island!! Ohhh wait now it's the mist monster which can eat anyone at any moment but no, that was last episode it's not a threat anymore. They just throw in too much random stuff for shock effect and losely try and string it together. Recommendations, not sure which are on netflix Spartacus Rome Battlestar Gallactica Fullmetal Alchemist, "surprisingly adult themed and amoral for a kid's show" Cowboy Bebop
mmajunkie
Yeah Spartacus was awesome. Both seasons in full are on Netflix I'll check out Rome. Camelot started tonight too, its on DVR will have to watch it tomorrow...

corpsestomp
I watched nearly all of Lost, and I have to say, I never cared for it. flashback flashsideways flash forward It just seems like they made new episodes for the sake of keeping people watching, not because it affected the story in any way... Imoutgoodbye
Lost was definitely Science Fiction. What makes Science Fiction and Fantasy greater than any other genre (and everyone here should know this! ) is that it takes longer to develop the characters. But, yes, Lost ran as long as it did by making **** up as it went. No one appreciates good improv anymore. *sigh*
mmajunkie
I am liking it so far...I don't notice any improv so far, but I just finished season2. Everything so far fits....some loose ends sure, but so far I'm with it.

Everything so far fits....some loose ends sure, but so far I'm with it.[/quote'] I think it's around Season 4 it starts with the improv, but I watched very little of it because at the time it came on I was at work and didn't have cable or anyway to record it. That and I didn't get really into it until that Physicist, Daniel, got involved. That's when I got interested.
mmajunkie
Got Netflix?
Imoutgoodbye
Got Netflix? Nope. Straight up Cable. For the cheap, fast internet that comes with it. Watch one show per week with the wife via On Demand. And that's about all the time/patience I have for TV.

mmajunkie
what season does he come in?
Rensvert
The Man in Black is already in the show in season 2 you just dont know it yet. Also Loved Lost having just been to Maui and seen some of the sets for the show I really wanna watch them all over again. The Final Episode was very, very good some people didnt like it but I thought it did everything it was supposed to do and more. The only thing I will say about the show is if you want an ending that ties everything up then the show may not be for you. As it was always more about the telling of the story than an ending to me at least. However Physc is a rather entertaining show that's on netflix and not sure if its on netflix or not but Supernatural is a show I also enjoyed for the most part. and as someone said before Battlestar Galactica is one of my favorite shows of all time. Also i've got lots more TV shows that were/are good if your curious PM and i'll give ya a list of them.
