From my perspective, the show gave both her and Robb life and character far beyond what I gained from the books, and despite that I knew what was coming for them, watching it happen was at least equally painful as reading it - particularly as, in the books, Robb's wife was not at the Red Wedding, and was not pregnant, and was not murdered in the way she was in the show. I've been about two hairs from just quitting him forever while reading the last three books. The last chapter of book five did me in, so unless I see on the back of book six 'He's not dead! He's not dead!' I am completely done with this dog and pony show. I do find it utterly hilarious the level of hatred people have garnered towards the season ending of the show however.
