miskahn
I don't know how many people will go for this but I had a lot of fun with that random lvl 50 day that the imms put on, I was wondering if anyone else would be keen for a mid year random lvl 50 day give the new people a chance to try out a class they wouldn't have usually played or would like to play in the future. Just a thought.
Brehan
It was called Halloween madness and it only happens once a year.
miskahn
yea I know there is the haloween madness, but I remember last year there was a random lvl 50 day where anyone can create a character and try out class/races they wouldn't normally play,
KRins
I think the regular game was bugged to the point they wizlocked it and gave us halloween madness so no one overthrew the government due to withdrawals..
f0xx
I wont mind second halloween madness.
miskahn
yea tell me about it, why should we only have it as a haloween madness thing? I don't know... it always seems to make the playerbase grow after a haloween madness thing
KRins
I'd say the exact opposite... I, personally, don't pour hours into a char to deal with a ton of throw away chars while I have to wait to get back to the char I want to play.

f0xx
Helloween madness is heaven for newer and less experienced players. I remember my first halloweeen madness I rolled a cleric of each religion to try their DIs and blessings. The last couple halloweens I've been rolling dark knights to try their malforms and for 2 days I've learned as much as I would have learner for 5 years. Krins, instead of asking for zerker advices on the forums you can easily roll one and and test different tactics on halloween. The game is still EXTREMELY newbie unfriendly. Halloween madness is one of the rare occasions a new player can learn so much from first hand experience.
KRins
99.9% of my motivation to even play here is RP, something that is totally suspended during Halloween Madness. I mean, if everyone wants it...do it up. Just let me know when we get back to normal.
Djriacen
I agree with f0xx. Obviously the learning curve for FL, and any mud really, is extraordinarily steep. One or two days out of the year isn't going to kill anyone. Catch some sunlight.

miskahn
i mean there is still another 364 days in the year that mud would be the same as usual, just another day or two through out the year would perhaps bring in more players, I don't know... maybe. the_nightmare
I rolled a character yesterday, acted like a newbie just to see what will happen.Reached rank 24 and got ganged.
Kyzarius
i hate madness. none of the skills train with the advself, so the only classes worth playing are those that require little to no training (like invokers..) to be able to dish out damage. its a half thought out idea. Pali
I would prefer if skills trained up with advself for madness...
Mindflayer
I would prefer if skills trained up with advself for madness... Then you'd have a plethora of blademasters and monks squashing those invokers and clerics
