Pali
First episode is up , only about 10 minutes long yet still entertaining and with a surprising number of recognizable faces... Tahmoh Penikett from BSG, Jeri Ryan from Star Trek Voyager, Michael Jai White from Spawn... I'm looking forward to seeing how they continue to develop this. It seems a lot higher-budget than I originally thought it would be as well, with some pretty decent special effects.
Imoutgoodbye
*check watch* Waiting for the game to release so I can own all of you. :D On a side note, don't care for how old Sonja Blade looks. I always saw her as more of a 25-30, not 40-45.

Imoutgoodbye
Whereas I come out brightly shining as a beacon of tolerance for artistic license. You're itching for it, aren't you? Well, forget it! I'm going to bed. I have a pysch exam in the morning.
Pali
Actually, that was my last thought on the subject. You go to bed - I go to bar.
killalou
Check out the preview with scorpion before watching episode 1. *Edit* My mistake the preview I saw a while back was actually a 10 minute pilot teaser. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hFu4OE3sE3k This teaser did so well that they got the rights to produce a mini series (now dubbed MK Legacy). Pali
If I'm correctly informed, that teaser was meant to be a promo concept for a movie, but instead the producers decided to go for a webseries.
Rensvert
I liked it, and personally can't wait for my PS3 copy of the new game to come out. I am so ready for what I can only hope to be a good Mortal Kombat game. However as Valek will tell you any game that doesnt ask "Are you my father" in it is probably going to be better than the last MK game I played. Pali
I don't know if anyone else has been following it or not, but thus far this series is at episode 4, and I'm finding it quite interesting. It seems they're not going with the idea from the promo last year of meshing everything into the real world (Baraka being a psycho plastic surgeon, Reptile being a guy with a weird skin disorder, etc.), but rather are going with the original Mortal Kombat storyline of a power struggle over various worlds and Earth being sucked into it unwittingly (edit: yes, I'm aware that saying that MK had a storyline is somewhat of a joke in itself ). To be honest, I'm a tiny bit disappointed by that decision, as I find that I often quite enjoy adaptations of fantasy into reality (such as the newer Batman movies)... but that's me being disappointed by my ignorance-based hopes, not by the work they're putting out. The last couple of episodes are a LOT more story-heavy than the first two (3 focuses on Johnny Cage, 4 gives the overall background story as well as the background on Kitana and Mileena as well as some bits of Baraka and Shao Kahn), so if the action-focus of those episodes was off-putting to anyone I'd recommend giving it another shot.
