I give up

Recommended Posts

Well, Just letting those now who actually played with me. Onija's time is done. Why you ask? Too many undeads and each seems to consider me their personal play thing. So far every time I long on I'm fighting a necromancer or some undead. And when I switch stances, well another comes to clean up. Sorry, I'm tired of playing a class that cannot switch battle strategies without running for hours first.

Yeah, it sucks. I learned a lot with this character. But as I said, I have not been able to reequip since I died to Ith. Why? Death and full loots, or some young one looting the pit, or dying to a battlemage, only to turn around and have a thief stab you in the back. Then you look up and low and behold, there is an invoker around, and your still in defensive........

Try again? I attack two people in my entire life-time. The rest I defended myself against.

EDIT: I consider defending myself dirt kicking if an evil enters the room and doesn't rest while in sanctuary. Besides that its not that I had too many too fight. As I said in another post, I would log on expecting that. My problem was with the monk class. Lot's of evils on gunning for you equals a quick death, or if you have fast enough feet, a long time running.

Monk stances seem geared towards fighting certain classes. Get a variety of classes against you, and you'll have some problems.

I haven't given up. And I already have an elven paladin. I like playing the underdog when it comes to fighting. Sometimes I would log on and see so many evils and think, 'Hrmm, this should be fun'. My only problem with monks in comparison to blademasters is empowerment. but, I think I'll role up a gnome ranger or something out the blue.
