Mindflayer
Honestly I love our FB page. I'm now on it more than the forum. The one thing that sold me is the Forsaken Lands Group chat....LOL...THING ROCKS!! Same here, I haven't used the group chat though.. that's Twin's area of moderation Speaking of which, I think we should include the divine mandates on our page as well for any new players
f0xx
Yep, join the FB page, you can flame strong characters as much as you want and get away with it
Deykari
The group chat looked cool at first but already it's turned into the place people go to vent and flame when they've been fulled. The content on the group can be moderated by the admins which is cool but unfortunately, there's no way you can moderate what is essentially a real-time chat room. mya
Can you moderate your friends chating at a cafe table? Let them have their silly happy angered chats. I think that this is great, as we can know our fellow FLanders betterr.

I think that this is great, as we can know our fellow FLanders betterr. The problem I see is that by default, you automatically receive these messages when you join the group. When newbie A joins and automatically becomes a part of a discussion about how char X is "****ing trash" etc. then it doesn't paint the best picture. f0xx
There is a setting to remove the ability to receive such messages. Thanks to Twinoobs, I am now free of all the "Man this character pwned me, he is so trash!" messages.
Twinblades713
Yep' date=' join the FB page, you can flame strong characters as much as you want and get away with it [/quote'] Yep, I need to watch you more closely. On the same note, I started being quite a bit noisier about distaste for the flaming on the page. People will start disappearing. I'm not sure how or why, but I fear it! ;_;

Lenience and requesting has been pointless.
Atticus
The FB chat is fine, and I feel alot of times it is better to vent on that than IG. I watch the chat too, and as long as we can avoid too much "flamin" on the posts themselves- we will all get along alright : edit- and where the eff is my ninja FB manager title? :{ p
Twinblades713
You're missing the point Atticus. It's for us, sure. But it's more to be an outreach for newbies. When that chat pops up about people being f@gs and trash chars, few newbies will appreciate the input or understand the integrity we're trying to at least convey. Like everything else in the game, it'd be nice if people were just good about it, but big boys can Be children too.
Atticus
of course, but thats when you and I would express, hey- lets simmer down. and we would know about the newer people, so thats when we would proceed with such. I'm not going to step in on players with over 8 years experience on me though. mumble, "Missing the point..." sigh
