Pali
This is a fairly witty little Youtube comedy show that's been going for at least a few years now. It's premise is that it follows Mr. Deity, who is basically playing the role of Yahweh, as he figures out his plans for the universe and people. He has an assistant named Larry, is married to Lucy (guess her role actually his wife IRL IIRC), goes through a hiring process to find Jesse (Jesus), the first episode is him making decisions about what sorts of evil he'll allow, later episodes involve things like him trying to figure out how he wants to create man since he's lazy and would rather take a hands-off approach (which is how he decides on evolution ), etc. It is religiously-themed satire, and if you take the Bible (or the Jewish/Islamic versions of the Old Testament) very literally or seriously then I would not necessarily recommend it as you may find parts of it offensive (though I promise that the show is, at all points, trying to be funny rather than mean as far as I call tell). If you're a nonbeliever, only somewhat religious, or religious in a more personal way, I hope you'll find this amusing. If you're strongly religious, I still hope you might give it a try as it's possible you'd still find it funny, but if you don't think there's much likelihood of that I advise steering clear. EDIT: There are a few points where, if you don't pay much attention to the online skeptical or religious communities, you may not quite understand the jokes (an appearance by PZ Myers, a crocoduck reference, things of that nature). As far as I can remember they don't happen too often, so I hope they don't ruin your enjoyment of a well-written comedy show. As far as continuity goes, I'd recommend starting at the beginning (the early episodes are labeled by season, but some of the more recent ones don't seem to be yet), but it really doesn't make that big of a difference... I just think that later episodes with Jesse and the like are better if you saw the episode of Jesse agreeing to the role, etc.
