Kyzarius
Bladestorm only works with two weapons. Is basically haste, with the same penalty to regen. When you are not wielding two weapons you do not get the extra attacks. Though, I noticed you STILL get the regen penalty? Is this all correct, and as intended? J.Twendrist
I always thought if you did a two weapon stance and then lost a weapon you were screwed. Can't really use that stance with only one weapon...
f0xx
K, that works so because otherwise it will be abused via doublesheat and basicly there will be no penalty to bladestorm other than the AC penalty. draw sleep hour passes stand draw

BLM is the only class with a lengthy haste that cant cancel.

mya
Monks monkey stance. Stances are powerful but rigid.
Mindflayer
I agree with f0xx here. Blademasters shouldn't be the only class allowed to turn haste on and off. A monk can't just cancel monkey stance to sleep for a quick tick.
f0xx
Well, I am a monk newbie, but isn't monkey a bit different than haste? Actually from my experience, it's not haste at all. It's just that you get ~double the attacks for ~double less damage. Of course, from doubling the attacks comes another monk related bonus, but I personally haven't noticed a penalty on HP/mana regain. But as I said, I am a monk newbie, so don't take my word for anything
Cephirus
I believe there is one way that monks can cancel a stance, but I am not certain, as I have not played one in quite a long time. I think that if monks/blademasters are able to cancel a stance, it should only be when they are near the end of the time, maybe with two or so ticks left. This is assuming that switching empowerment for monks does not already do that for them.
f0xx
I am tired of people comparing monks to blademasters. It's like comparing German to English. My parents tricked me when I was young and had to start learning a second foreign language by telling me German is very similar to English. So I started learning German with the thought that it would be a walk in the park since I am already familiar with English. I was so wrong... Comparing monks to blademasters is like comparing German to English. Both classes have anatimies and both classes can use stances. And that is where ALL their similarities end. Blademaster stances work completely different compared to monk stances. Blademaster anatomies work completely different to monk anatomies. Won't even mention the rest. Twinblades713
Monks can reempower quickly and only have to wait an hour, easily cancelling their stance. It's pretty easy actually, to drop a stance and get it back up. I shouldn't have quit playing Ithelani, but I was dealing with some stuff.
Mindflayer
Yes Twinblades, but then you're gimped while you wait to re-empower. So it has it's downside.
f0xx
Don't they need half of the empower time to have passed so they can empower again? I.e. an empower lasts 24 hours, you can't empower again (drop your stance) if 12 hours haven't passed?

Twinblades713
4 Hours. That's all you need to wait. And if you time your empower you only need to wait one tic. I do that as a shaman all the time. Newbie MF... it's ok.
mmajunkie
Blademaster anatomies do NOT work COMPLETELY different from monk anatomies.
