P_body
Seems I picked the wrong class to come back with. Didn't know they needed tweaking until after I had pinned, so I decided to stick with it anyway. Seems I made the wrong choice. With the recent multi-kills while trying to re-gain basic potions, and consistently being the only WM when I log in against 3-7 opponents gunning for my head, in addition to multiple crashes/eq swipes, and the hinted possibility (although hopefully slight) that my char may have a corrupted pfile and would get wiped anyway, looks too dreary and too steep of an uphill battle to be called "fun." Thanks to the IMMS for your help and all the Q's the players answered on the forum. Anyone interested in a freshly purchased key for zmud, send me a pm. the_nightmare
I was amused how well you did with this character, and I do mean it.I would have never guessed that you are new here.Very classy character, too bad that you picked the wrong cabal. You would make an excellent goodie, because of the temperament that you have as a player and the patience to stick with your char.Follow my advice and roll a goodie, you will not regret it. jibber
Man.. wish you would have stuck around. I'm not too impressed with as to how many times you died and got full looted, IN A ROW, even. I even saw it happen to Kadrinath as he tried to re-equip.. and it was all done by the same person. Full loot, after full loot, after full loot. I mean, it's gotta stop somewhere, guys. And if it's you, you know who you are! One kill/full loot a DAY is okay, I guess, but 4-5 in a row? Not good for this game. To Bailen: I wish you'd stick around. I really do. We have a very odd relationship in game, and I'm certain you know who I play just by saying that. You've had a horrible last couple of days, and I'm sorry, and I'd also like to extend an apology for that jerk that keeps multi-killing/full looting cabal enemies. It just isn't necessary. Streetfighter
Bailen was cool man. Hooked me up a couple times, plus we had some fun challenges. Each time you got way better, really stunned me how fast you were getting good. Take it from me, stick it out.... it will get better.
The-Nameless
I loved bailen. Alot man. Had alot of fun pre wm, and in WM. Sorry it turned out this way really. RE: Jibber. I completely agree. There are some people who just cannot grasp the concept of showing some class in their looting. Call me soft or whatever, but full looting someone you completely steamroll 2-4times in a row is just poor sportsmanship. You guys have got to get it through your head there is a difference between winning, and being a dick about it. If you want people to stay and play FL, start drawing some lines. bavarianbrew
That's rough. Everytime I crossed paths with Bailen, he was on an EQ mission! As for getting MURDERED and looted, that's not fun. What is really worse is getting murdered without explanation, no bounty, no anything, not even a single word. I believe that is less classy San Diego than being murdered and looted with a viable RP basis. That probably pushes me away from the game more than anything. We get it, you're EVIL, you kill for fun, you kill for EQ, you kill because you were sent to your room without supper. Either way, you sure are tight lipped about it, and as per usual, a silent killer is Hep C, not said voiceless evil. None the less, I enjoyed my interactions with Bailen. P_body
Bailen just took too much crap for too long. (I always said patience wasn't my strong point) hehehe. He was always on an EQ mission because if he wasn't half-way decked he got outmeleed by ANYONE, including blm, monks, ninjas, thieves, no-rare wearing dks, practically naked rangers/warriors/paladins. But then when he'd get a decent suit, mud crashes would wipe him clean down to his nickers and he'd have to start the whole thing over again. I didn't get full looted that often, but the nexus/WM battle made his life a living hell and he kept losing rares like crazy due to the two crumbling on death. Then you throw in the multi'ing and the severely stacked odds against him (Kadrinath? Where'd you go man?) and after six? deaths In under an hour when all I was trying to do was keep my head above water and gather some potions etc. (If ya log after eating some major **** like a planetary anomaly full eq swipe, it just leaves a bad taste in your mouth) I figured I just couldn't cut it against the p-base I was having to deal with. After looking for pk advice IG and over pm, from IMMs, and posting/trying to post a bunch of pks on the pk log (and getting _very_ little feedback) there wasn't much of a bright future to not continually getting stomped in pk, especially because (news came a little late for me) berserkers are a "gimped" class for now. Just sucked the life out of it. What's the point of 150+ hours and all you have to show for it is 25-30 deaths, Nexus/Savant has your item and you're butt naked and down to no cps because you have to keep "outfitting" yourself every ten to fifteen minutes? You know there's something wrong when life IG sucks worse than IRL. Thanks for the props and encouragement ladies and gents. Would love to stick around, and after two naps of dreaming Bailen didn't get denied and was re-instated into warmaster, apparently my subconscious agrees. But that just isn't how the imms or this game works. Peace.

It's why I refuse to play anymore. Bailen was great, had some funny interactions with him as Claudis. First was him calling me, "WEAK!" lol, made me laugh every time. Djriacen
Hmm, I thought that was a part of your RP, thinking not using herbs was better than the alternative. mya
Play a freaking moderate. From what you describe you problem arises from being not decently equipped in you fights, and so you lose. I understand the "madness/rush" some of you suffer from, that make stand up and fight in a fight you should run (outnumbered, outequiped, outskilled). I even understand that meeles at an non elite level really need the Hit/dam suit to win PK's. What I do not understand is why some of the players even being aware of the situation prefer to play ruthless over moderates. Is it a pride thing? A dream that one day you will have a perfect suit of adeptus? Sure moderates take more skill to kill fully decked characters. BUT IT CAN BE DONE!!! You just need to develop experience. And how do you do that? By PKing. And a Moderate is great for it. You are always suited, and this cuts down time. You lose, 5 min latter you are on your feet trying a new tatic. In time you will gain the skill to play on your strengths and avoid your weaknesses, allowing you to triumph over Decked Ruthless players. And then as you look at your oponent, a ruthless fully decked on adeptus, laying at your moderate feet. Then you will know the sweet taste of a uphill victory. As you dominate them. Counter-Point: It has been shown that it does not ALWAYS take an enormously awesome PK record to become E or L of a cabal. So for those wishing to explore into the upper echelons of Cabals the Ruthless tier offers a way of doing so. It's a catch-22 regardless of how you look at it. I prefer to play moderates because I know if the person beat the crap out of me, they are going to do it again. However, a Ruthless seem to get into the heavy PK more often, so if you want to jump in the river instead of wade that is the way it is. Yes either way you CAN learn to swim, but sometimes just jumping in leads to drowning and just wading can lead to never swimming......
