jibber
Not going to get my support if you're going to be like that. We gave you advice, maybe some of it unwarranted, but quitting because you can't take it doesn't make me like the situation anymore than I did before. Wish you all the best. See ya. Not gonna beg you to stay.
Twinblades713
That is one of the caveats of having an Undead. The QRACE part puts you into a WHOLE new ballgame. The moderate tier was created for when people like me have very little time to play. I don't have time to reequip, etc. Qraces cannot be moderate because you must be willing to spend the time reequipping. You must be willing to get full looted every time you die, and you must be willing to fight uneven odds, get hit at your lowest point, and push through. You must be willing to take this POWERHOUSE that you have at its weakest before you can utilize it to its fullest. If you were moderate and still wishing to learn, you could not even mechanically be multikilled. (Timers and whatnot) I've had demons where I've fought two caballed enemies and KNEW there was a thief at my pit, waiting for me to recall. Try to get less mad, and more to get even. jibber
No one called you any names. (edit: I take that back. Aulian called you "so stupid that you don't where all the time". It may be a brash way to put it, and I'm sorry for that. That still shouldn't digress you from playing.) If you were insulted by the way Aulian put it, well, I'm sorry you felt insulted. The prayer forum is a place to vent. While I don't mind you posting somewhere HERE to vent, you're going to get a lot more of the "toughen" up side of things than you will on the prayer forum. You chose the medium, and you received that same medium of reply. Aulian is 100% correct in where he's coming from. I actually don't blame him at all the way he came off. What kind of replies were you expecting? Honestly? If you truly, honestly feel that you shouldn't have put it here in the first place, then you won't leave. If you truly, honestly feel that it was simply an outburst and 'spur of the moment' thing, then you won't be leaving. I've done it. Everyone here has done it. I've evolved, I'd like to think, as much of the other player base has. It's a phase. Get over it. It's hard to feel sorry for you.

Oni
While it does detract from your enjoyment consideraby to be accused or feel accused of griefing or being trash for just following your char's rp. PK in FL has always been more random, violent and brutal. Despite the current mindset of every fight should always be a fair one. I'm personally disgusted at quite a few of the comments made. jibber
Had you seen the posts Liadon made (she edited them before you posted) You would see why most of the posts were made, and what they were directed at. Kind of disappointing really. Without her posts, everyone seems to be saying a lot of crap for absolutely nothing, which just isn't true.
Aulian
This argument has nothing to do with me. I just stated some valid points. You want to play an undead. Dont feel hard done by.
Oni
I saw them and I don't disagree with you on what you said concerning her complaints. Rather that comments were made to her that were more of a personal attack and unncessary.
Aulian
Her whole post is designed in attacking a character who has done nothing wrong.

Cephirus
To be fair, her original post was a way for her to vent frustration at being a little lost and the surprise of the attack, one she was not expecting from that person. Aulian in his own way is attempting to get across the idea that as an undead, you have to constantly be watching your back. Try and be aware of enemies, but suspect all and be cautious. I know things can get heated, and especially with pk it is easy to say "screw this crap, I went through all that work and now I have to build back up." However, it is ten times more rewarding when you realize it is them that are saying "crap, why can't I beat them anymore?" To get there, consistently, it takes a lot of dedication and to be honest, dying. Being able to build yourself up, especially right after a death (without cabal eq) is an invaluable skill. I think you have all the potential makings of becoming a true terror Liadon, both in rp and pk. The rp is already there, and the pk will come in time, but it will be tough at first. Please don't give up
F-3000
(mainly as a reply to Liadon) PK in FL has always been more random' date=' violent and brutal.[/quote'] Once upon a time, I played knight-wannabe purifist elf thief who spent most of his(/her?) time in Miruvhor, stalking recallers and having the pit trapped most of the time. (I had avatar-application approved, and the quest done, but I never got that avatar, most likely due to the extremely dirty tactic I used to gather kills) Despite the current mindset of every fight should always be a fair one. That's just impossible. As a mere example, I'm best skilled in PK with thief, yet, I would never expect to be able to beat up a (skilled) vampire. Now, where's the fairness in that? I think you have all the potential makings of becoming a true terror Liadon' date=' both in rp and pk. The rp is already there, and the pk will come in time, but it will be tough at first.[/quote'] It took me years of playing to be able to maintain 50/50 PK-ratio. I'd believe that normal learning-curve is a lot shorter, though. Please don't give up Indeed, don't give up. Besides, so far I haven't even heard of another mud that would compete with FL regarding the level of RP.

Liadon Xiloscient
Despite everything, it turned out okay in the end. After all... families argue and here we're family, no matter how hard some of us but heads. I learned my lesson, and despite how I reacted it's because of YOU that I learned a lot here. I made a mistake, and I don't expect to be forgiven right away, I'll have to prove myself for that, but all in all, I'm ready to start working towards being a better player. I love you all. Even you Aulian.
