Imoutgoodbye
And, no, it's not so I can hang myself. Next week is my three year wedding anniversary. Unfortunately, I find myself with a small quandary. I haven't been unemployed since...well, I was 15. I've worked the last 13 years of my life, always had a job, always had my own income. So, I can't buy pretty jewelry or set up a fancy dinner. No roses this time. I don't have a single penny to call my own at the moment. So, if you folks would be kind enough to offer me some of your ideas, I'd be real happy.

Implementor Anume Posted July 20, 2011 Implementor Report Share Posted July 20, 2011 You'll have to eat anyway, so cook and make a candlelight dinner. You can pick some flowers from a meadow or some garden for decoration. Persoanlly, I think that remembering the anniversary is what counts most, second is what efford you put in, least important is how costly it all is. So believe me, not having much money does not mean you can't make it a nice anniversary.

Imoutgoodbye
hehe... Well, I already make dinner every night. I love to cook. I own four different scented massage oils from Bath and Body Works. Have for quite some time. She gets pampered plenty. I guess I need to find a babysitter and try the candle light dinner. Croyvern
choose a half a dozen memorable events from the last three years. Write her a simple poem using each of these events as the subject of one stanza of the poem. Do NOT read her the Poem. Write it on the back of a Home made card. It will not cost much, but she will have something physical she can hang on to forever to memorialize the day. ^this is what I would do^ A romantic dinner is not a bad Idea to go along with
