I have to look at these types of articles to help retool my brain for the upcoming semester. I also found my Synthesis Essay, which I plan on posting later. Just have to figure out the cut-off point as it's 5 pages. Yes, I'm quite proud of my academic writing, as it's different than my forum posting. Pali Posted July 28, 2011 Report Share Posted July 28, 2011 Great analysis, except it leaves out one thing that helps explain the prevalence of red-shirt deaths in the original Star Trek - red shirts were worn only by engineering and, more pertinently, security personnel, and the latter especially should be expected to bear the brunt of risk and casualties.
